Gonna be a lot of decent ruck options next year.

Mumford, McEvoy, NicNat, HMac, Sandi, Griffin (when Sandi goes down in the pre-season) will all be pretty underpriced/discounted.

Along with the premos in Cox, Goldy, Minson, Leuey and Kruezer.

Wouldn't have thought big Griff would be available for round 1 next year would he mate?

If Sandilands and HMac have full pre-seasons they could both potentially be in the 250k-300k zone, thats 500-550k for 2 quality ruckman leaving heaps of cash for positions elsewhere

Agree, big if though given their injury histories. At most you'd want to select one of them, there's a chance they'll get injured early in the first  5 rounds and give you a low subbed off score and require a trade.

okay, so team set up
ruckline 1: Cox, Sandi, HMac, Rook - total value of 1.2m (Cox 485, Sandi+Hmac=550, Rook 150)
ruckline 2: Cox, Leuey, Rook, Rook - total value of 1.2m (Cox 485, Leuey 425, Rook 150, Rook 150)

both priced around the same (roughly), so which do you pick?
obviously the chance of 3 keepers in the starting side with option 1, but likely higher cash generation with option 2

Ruckline 3: Leuey, Sandi, HMac, Rook ;)

NicNat and Leuey locked for me at this stage. (Cox up forward if he proves his worth)

Adamant

I'm not wasting my time with expensive ruck premos this year. Besides Cox, there really isn't anyone else that is proven over a long period of time, so I'm going cheap there and stacking the midfield/backline.

I know it's early and I'll just end up changing a thousand times anyway, but at this stage I'm looking at something like this:

1. Mumford, HMac (rook, rook)
2. Mumford, Sandi (rook, rook)
3. McEvoy, HMac (rook, rook)
4. McEvoy, Sandi (rook, rook)
5. HMac, Sandi (rook, rook)

*With Cox probably being a likely starter up forward

henry

I really like nicnat as a ruck next year. Provided he has a decent pre season, should get more of the number 1 ruck role. Will be cheap also. If he can get over his groin issues/OP will be in my team  :)

Heath Shaw is GWS colours is tempting
GWS murders fantasy scoring, will be a wait and see for me, will be an upgrade if I have shaw next year

Could be similar to Broughton at GC? :-\

That's what I was thinking. Although Broughts is playing a lock-down role at the Suns, doubt Shaw will do the same with his nice run off half-back. But probably too risky for me.

Holz

as always upgrade target for shaw if he peforms. He would need to go huge, im about over the injuries and suspensions.

hopefully some better backs next year with Mcveigh, Simpson etc...
