Lachie Neale could be one to look out for next year. He seems to be starting to push for a best-22 spot at Freo now, and has been coming home with a wet sail (scores of 87, 103, 117 and 93 in the last four rounds). His kicking efficiency is hovering around 80%, so he's the sort of player Ross Lyon will be backing.

Sounds interesting, imo I'm avoiding all 2nd and 3rd year players, If he hasn't made an increase on his points next season I'll back him in for 2015 :)

Look for Dom Tyson to go absolutely bang next year. Averaged 84 unsubbed in 2012. Injury has cruelled him this year. Would be better off not at GWS but should still be one to explode.

Two guys I will definitely be looking at next year, especially tyson who should be pretty cheap. I'd find it tough to pick neale though, as although his scores have been impressive recently take a look at who they're against, pretty soft opposition. Also you have to keep in mind lyon's unreliability, he may start playing neale as a defensive forward or something lol wouldn't surprise me.

Another player on my watchlist is Big Ben McEvoy! I haven't seen that many Saints games so does anyone know why he has averaged a tad over 75? He also started the year off on fire with an average of 94 in his first 7  :D, but from there hasnt hit the tonne once  :o! Has he been carrying an injury of some sort?

Anyone considering Sidebum?
I would if he got DPP but I don't think so otherwise. He's played a lot on the half back flank but I don't think there's much of a chance of him being anything but pure mid. There are just too many other Pies I'd want in my midfield which, with two byes next season, means I can't justify another.

Some more food for thought - Jesse Lonergan. Everyone was locking him in in the pre season, then he got injured. He's played 4 games, average of 50. Not playing cause hes injured. Could he be a good pick next year? Would be hard to see him getting games with GAJ, O'Meara, Prestia, Martin, Bennel and possibly Rischitelli ahead of him.

Scrads

Some final averages for players from last nights game I might be interested in next year:

Mumford: 78.05
Jack: 101.36
Savage: 67.27 (if FWD)
Whitecross: 65.5 (if FWD)
Buddy: 78.68
Hodge: 90.75 (if DEF)
Mitchell: 95.57 (if DEF)
Birchall: 80.5

specky92

Savage has been the sub a fair bit as well so the average doesn't reflect his actual scoring

May or may not be an 86 average unsubbed (10 games) ;)

The problem is though you can just take out his subbed games because there is a fair chance that he will be sub a bit next year aswell.

Jukes

Buddy lining up to be Cloke 2.0. Good 90s average drops to 70s in a season interrupted by contract talks, then signs on and guns it again

Windigo

Mumford could be a good bargain ruck pick up. Seems to have rediscovered the mojo.

Or he has finally got over his premiership hangover.
