Bellchambers also had a bit of hype around him in preseason

Surely Currie will debut next year, I still can't believe he hasn't got a game, I can remember sitting on the couch watching him play Geelong in the NAB and killing it....

Jesse Hogan averaging over 90 in the VFL so far this season, including a game where he went off half way through the first quarter with a thigh injury and didn't return. Hogan > O'Meara, not just because he's a Claremont boy either.

2014 year of the breakout imo- Prestia, Wingard, Liberatore, Dangerfield, Treloar, Adams all could become 100+ or 110+ players.

I'm confident he can overcome them.

Yeah true, he just seems like that player that will learn to handle them

Jukes

And if he can't handle the tags and gets them every week, could always sideways him to old mate Dick Douglas :D

I agree with all these especially Libba. Kid is going to be a DT pig

Could he be at a new team next year again? Plenty of other clubs could probably use his services, I'd love to see him in Yellow and Black.

I'm considering getting on Libba this season as my M9 to rotate with a couple of players. Only in 3.2% of teams, has a three round average of 119 (93, 142 and 123 on Hawks, Eagles and Swans), only plays bottom eight teams in the run home- Carlton, Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne. Averages 109 on Brisbane (prelims) and 144 on Melbourne (grannie).

Definitely looking at Treloar but i also fancy Lecras next year, with a full pre-season and that pesky arm guard he may recapture some of that 2011 form, my smokie for next year is Mitch Duncan!

henry

Adams and Treloar appeal to me most of those mentioned by Jukes. The issue is this year has put me off first year break out players who are attempting to back it up, as they often get more opposition attention such as Zorko. This is why i certainly won't be starting with libba or winguard, could be upgrade targets though.

Jukes

Libba has Griff and Boyd, Wingard has Ebert and Boak to protect them from being tagged every week.

Yeah you'd have thought similar with Zorko, with Rockliff, Rich, Hanley and Black being tagged first but it has not neccesarily been the case.

I don't just mean tagging when I say extra attention, I mean simply that opposition coaches will be more wary of their influence and ability and so will look to minimise their effect, even if that's not through directly tagging them. All your suggestions of break out players have merit, I for one won't be starting them due to what I have mentioned, may look at them as upgrade targets though.
