Yeah hopefully Pav goes average on return, but he could averaged 90 odd against GWS, Melbourne, Power and the Saints when he returns...that would increase his season average to 80 :/ stick to the 70's Pav  ;)  Would be a lock if he could get through the preseason trouble free

Depending on how he finishes the year, Wellingham will be cheap for an 80ish average
Toby Greene and Andrew Gaff are the two I'll be keeping an eye on for a return to form/breakout
Clancee Pearce should get DPP
Dayne Beams will be a lock
As will his brother after a nice discount
NicNat will be a lock for me after a full preseason
Chapman will also be super cheap and worth it if his body holds up
Charlie Dixon might also get a discount
Hurley will be cheap based on average but so injury prone
Chris Knights could be worth a look again
Fasolo, Redden, Patton will all be cheaper
Morabito and Mitch Clark if they get through preseason
Tom Hawkins is worth a look if he can get over his back issues
Mullett should get defender status
Mitch Robinson is well down on his 90ish output
HMac should get a massive discount as well

These are also some roughies , although i will not be touching gaff until he learns how to tackle

Sidebottom a dpp MID/DEF

Swan a dpp??? Considering Buckley is playing him forward at times haha!

Steve J MID only

I agree with every ones input on here. My breakout player for next season is Luke Shuey. I can see him easily pumping out a 105 average.

Harley Bennell is a under performer this season and can turn it around to a 90 average.

Carlton duo Simpson and Carrazzo have had poor seasons, usually average much higher.

I really like the look at T-Mac next year, important player for the suns and is always given the ball to carry out of defense

The injured Daisy Thomas is also another option, especially if he doesn't come back, should keep his dpp

Tex will have to be strongly considered! but without his mullet  ???

pommyadam

fairly sure we'll get given a few surprises

Sandi (and most teams that play 2 ruckmen) to get DPP FWD/Ruck, they ALL seem to play there when rested (see Hawthorn, Adelaide as well here)
not sure on Swan getting DPP, he'd be a FWD lock if he did though

also curious to see what Blicavs gets, obviously Ruckman, and which other, a TPP perhaps?

edit: also think Roughead will LOSE dpp, he doesn't do any ruckwork anymore

Adamant

Swan won't be DPP purely because VS don't want certain players to become instant locks.

A forward that averages 120+ is unheard of. It won't happen unfortunately.

RookieDTer

It's been said before, but Sandi, Patton, Beams, Tex Walker are probably the four stand-out must have.... then probably NicNat, but could always go Sandi + uber premo ruck and hope not to waste trades with ruckmen.

Toga

What's the chances of Deledio regaining DPP? Has played off a half back flank a lot this year...

SydneyRox

like the idea of mcveigh getting dpp

jono griffin only played 7 games this year, will be a nice price. Sandi no certainty to play on and guaranteed to need help

nrich102

Swan won't get dpp. Pearce Hanley, Jimmy Bartel and Gary Ablett for fwd/mid/back and Jared Brennan for Fwd/mid/back/ruck

SydneyRox

How about another mid/ruck to make Blicvas an interesting option? Nic Nat? Has started in the square with Cox in ruck a few times.....

ADEZ

Just pulled out the calculator...If Tex has this year last year, he would've been priced 270k - 300k with discount, so yeah he will be value next year for someone who averaged 87 last year :o

Jimbo_11

as for rookies

scharenberg is a lock for my backline as he should be listed as a def/mid but other than that not too sure
aish is a lock in the mids (as long as he doesnt go to gws) the kids a jet and dominates for norwood in the sanfl (got 30 disposals and 3 goals on the weekend)
jack martin definitely a lock he'll be the jaeger of 2014
theres gonna be plenty of other mids to choose from like kelly, billings, hartung, crouch, macdonald

as for forwards, looks like its gonna be a pretty lean year, only jesse hogan looks to be a lock
tom boyd probs needs a year or two to develop
