Here is my team before trades...Ranked 953

Initially, my plan was to trade Goodes to Ellis and sideways one of my underperforming rucks
I am happy enough with my backline, forwards and mid (barring Titch on field) I am content on sticking with Cotchin who has remembered how to run to space for easy marks (like Barlow for every kick in ;)) and should finish the year strong...The other I am happy to stick with his Priddis who has averaged 104 since his sub game and cracked the ton 8 times since with only 3 dropping below 100 with a low of 80 ~ CONSISTENT

I am willing to stick with the rucks (although Goldy deserves a rest - is he the only North midfielder/ruck that runs both ways :o) as Goldy has Melbourne while Cox has WB, GC and Essendon over his next three who he averages (over last three games against) 115, 132 and 114 respectively, Should get 90+  :P

So for these reasons, I am considering upgrading Titch, and the only one I am interested in is the great man Dayne Beams and to get him I will trade Blitz to J. Hall (playing third game) and Titch to Beams even though he will drop in price, value isn't a big deal at this stage of the year, points are!

It just looks...RIGHT!

Will give Ellis a week to prove himself against quality opposition as to whether I get him next week, Will still have cash to fix rucks if need be next week

What are your thoughts? Is it the right step to take?

What about Goodes to Mckenzie? Has pretty good draw for remainder of season. Ibbo slighty down on form that he showed earlier in the season and Grimes in injury prone.
Tichell has a b/e of 60 odd and beams 170 odd. So your rookie is expected to go up in price and you are paying overs for Beams. If you are really keen on upgrading Tichell I would strongly consider selwood. Excluding his game against the Crowley tag he has a LOW of 121 in his last 5 games

You can't exclude that though-it shows he struggles against a decent tag.

I wouldn't bring in Ellis, I think you should grab the Cannon instead. Beams has money to lose and Titch has money to gain, as much as I want to bring him in I am probably going to bring a gun in else where which is what I reckon you should do.

Another option is to downgrade Blicavs to an $89k'er to free up a ton of cash. (Could get $102k Mcbean he is R/F dpp but not much use for you, yet)

Priddis is good and doing well but IMO at some stage he has to go for a Griffen or Beams type, probably just not yet.

I suppose there's cons with anyone he brings in as he already has the must haves of Swan, Pendles, GAJ and Barlow. Selwood won't get the crowley tag in the run home and has posted 120+ in 7 of his 16 games.

Beams is going to kill it in weeks to come, i'm jumping on now while he's a POD.

id downgrade blicavs and upgrade goodes to enright/mckenzie ect, a few others to watch is b. wilson backs, and adam carter mids, both play for eagles and the eagles have a few injuries, carter has played the last 2 and wilson has been close to a game the past few.

I think your first instinct is right, Goodes has to go, and I think there is really no use for Blitz any longer - might as well cash him out.

I'm looking at Ellis myself this week, I think he represents great value, even if you are going to use him as your D7.  Maybe Blitz down to Currie could be an option, he has been performing well in the VFL and if they do rest Goldy he may be in line for a call up.  Low risk either way at $102k.

Beams will drop in price and Titch will go up, so the money you make with the trades will leave you with plenty in the kitty for the last few rounds.
