Sydney Thunder make me wanna chunder

I actually feel sorry for Mike Hussey. Like Gayle was last year, the entire team is relying on Huss to save their asses. Guys like Patterson, Hughes, Tye, Coyte, etc aren't Big Bash standard. Do any of them even have First-Class contracts?

That is where the Thunder should look to recruit - guys who actually play First-Class, not some no-name grade cricketers. I mean that with no disrespect to any of the aforementioned players but after 18 straight losses something has got to give

I really hope the Thunder can beat the Renegades, for the sake of Hussey and also the team. Sick of hearing about the losing streak and I want the boys to get a win! It would be fantastic for their confidence too

I thought Floros showed a bit but the rest haven't performed at all

Nails

They have some guns, but guns that will never be available lol.

Michael Clarke, Dilshan (should be gun imo), Warner, Hussey, Morgan, Nannes (he's gun), Mendis is pretty good, Khawaja...

They'd be pretty good if they could actually have them all line up in the same week

Wasn't Feldman gun in BBL02?

Yeah their list would be like top 2-3 in the comp if all their players were available. The only real guns they have that play are Hussey, Nannes and Khawaja (and Dilshan but he has done nothing thus far).

Patterson, Hughes and Coyte have all played First Class (and List A, iirc) cricket for New South Wales while Tye has played List A (was actually rather impressive in the Ryobi) for Western Australia.

Klinger to miss the Scorchers match on the 16th, hoping to be ready for the home match vs the Heat on the 18th. Botha flying to Perth, 50/50 chance of playing.

Damn, Damn, Damn...
This is BS if correct we are told ODI players are not available this round and the next and trade accordingly. Then this happens and you can not reverse trades either.
