I am most likely going to pull the pin on Cox. I needs to win both upcoming rounds to have a chance of playing finals in leagues that matter.

It is a luxury trade, but should give me a POD from other teams and hopefully a point of advantage. The alternatives I can see are:
Kruezer - $546K averaging 120 over past 5 rounds, 99 over the season
Minson -  $537K averaging 107 over the past 5, 111 over the season
Roughead $526 averaging 110 over the past 5 and 101 for the season

I think Minson is in front for mine but Roughie gives me added flexibility as he can cover any outs in the forwards and Nicholls can cover the rucks. I would have Zorko covering any F/M benches.

Current lines are:

Ablett, Pendles, Swan, JPK, ROK, Lids, Selwood, T Mitchell (Zorko, Viney)
Cox, Goldstein (Nicholls, Rowe)
SJ, Walker, Rockliff, JJK, Martin, Ryder (Stalker, B Kennedy)

6 trades, $20K

The plan is Stalker to Cheapy (McBean if Roughead comes in), Cox to ???? and T Mitchell to Griffen/Barlow/Beams next week. Leaves me with 3 trades and $100K for finals.

If anyone can shed some clarity on this conumdrum that would be smashing. Cheers!

I'd go Roughy mate.

Ruf > Kruz > Minson

Is it worth considereing Berger as well Sam with Brisbanes juicy run. He has averaged 106 for last 3 rounds and 109 for last 5. His 79 against North was his lowest score for season. Better figures than other rucks and may be the POD for you.

Bully

People should delay trading Cox until the Naitanui situation is resolved, there's no doubt that Cox will thrive if he's the number 1 ruck.

This! I would not be trading Cox unless it's an absolute must win and he's the weakest possible link. He's had a slump but he also brings out some big scores, averages 111 from 9 games against the dogs and a lowest score of 63, highest 213!!! He won't get into the 200s I don't think but you'd have to back him to get some points this week...
See how long NN stays in the side and when he's out, watch Cox become the player you wish you hadn't dropped.

He was forth on the list mate  :D I think he's a step below these 3, but I think he's pretty much a lock for 2014 with a good preseason.

To those who think trading Cox is jumping the gun you may be right, I'm just looking for an edge and this looks like a risk worth taking...
