Need to make finals. What should i do??

Only have 6 trades left and not too sure who i should trade goodes to???
Here is my team. What would you do???

Def: Goddard Gibbs Hartlett Duff Hibberd McKenzie  Emg: Goodes Clisby
Mid: Gablett Pendles Swan Selwood Mundy Priddis JPK Lids  Emg: Mitchell Kmart
Rucks: Minson McEvoy Emg: Nicholls Moller
Forwards: Buddy Cox Rocky Stokes JJK Martin Emg: Staker Lee

Obviously Goodes is my biggest problems but i also have a lot of underacheiving premiums. What would you do to this team. I'm barely hanging on to 8th, but leading 1st in points. Do i need to fix anything else to ensure finals??

That's a great team! Must be a strong league if you're only in 8th spot.

The only thing I could think of doing would be to trade Stokes > Stevie J. Stokes seems to have slowed down a little, and SJ is really the only person I can think of that would be worth adding to your side.

If you need to free up some cash, go Goodes to someone with a FWD/DEF DPP to link with Staker. Even consider someone like Broughton or Watts who will give you the forward link, but also some fairly handy coverage (assuming it gives you enough cash to get Johnson)

Good idea with the dpp link, was not considering broughton, but willing to give him a chance. i Think sj will be pivotal and need to bring him in. I only have 90k so Stokes to sj should just work. The league is relatively strong, it's just there's a big gap between the top 9 and the bottom 9 so there is a logjam for the top 8 sport with only 8 points sperating 1st and 9th.

Agree you have a strong team here and must be strong if in 8th place,
I would trade Goodes to either Lachie or Ricky Henderson. Both averaging strongly over the last 5 rounds and creates a DPP with Staker as well. A virtual straight swap so does not use cash either, Gives you flexibility as well with strong bench cover by players who will play every game.

Not sure of how much cash you have but would use a couple of the other trades prior to finals to upgrade a mid Lids seems to be slowing, a forward maybe Stokes or Franklin to SJ and perhaps McEvoy. If needing to win still this week after looking at opponents team would look at bringing in SJ if you can afford especially if opponent has him. Keep an eye on Beams for a mid upgrade as he will fall in value over the next couple of weeks.

At least you're not 1st in points and coming 14th like me in one of my leagues.

Get X Richards from Sydney...few Sunday games so good one to have for loophole and DPP with Staker...less than 100k so plenty of $ left to upgrade others. Maybe get Griffen in for Mitchell?

Cheer enzedder for input. This leaves with alot to think about. do i downgrade goodes to a cheap dpp or do i bring in someone at the same price which leaves me with only 90k to work with but if i downgrade i will have 400k to play with and that leaves alot of options with 6 trades left. I really dont want to be playing both hartlett and duffield, so theres that to contend with as well.

Right now I have the money for either

Stokes/goodes to broughton/Sj
Buddy/goodes to r Henderson/Sj
Or just goodes to any premo def or for and leave my forward line as is. What do you guys think, which trade combo should I make out of my choices??
