Isn't that banned? David Swallow wasn't named and hasn't been for a little while. Didn't play last week and wasn't named this week...

not sure if we finalized the rule ? or the punishment.

i know i wanted to and i know what doing that will be - a donut with no cover.

not sure that we voted on it or set it as a rule for this season tho?

will have to look back through threads to find out ( if it makes a difference to the result?)

We should just make it take your first named Emg instead of highest scoring like the other comps. Bit harsh to give a donut if you accidently name someone who isnt playing.

impossible to name someone who is not named if you check teams.

we will be voting on several rules involving naming teams at the end of the season, but i am not a fan of leaving loopholes.

and we do highest scoring emergency of the same position, or highest scoring emergency from a different position if none available from the same position.

why have an emergency "bench" and then take a lower scoring player off it? it makes no sense. the best players from your "squad" should count.

Because you dont know which is highest scoring before the game, so you name who you think will be the highest scoring first in your Emg list. You take the first named emg in that position, then if none take the first named OOP if none available.
Sometimes you name people assuming they play without looking at teams.

makes sense for the naming of emergencies part, we will vote on that change. As for naming an un named player i cant see any justification for doing that?

Didn't play last week so assuming he'd play this week is stupid. I only noticed because I have Swallow in BXVs and knew he was out. I didn't name him because he was definitely out.

i suppose coaches do play games with stars, so there may be late inclusions you might name a player for in hope that he is a late in...

either way all this and more will be voted on again after the season ends.
