Do you have the balls?

Yes, I've already been looking at him
Yes, now that you've brought my attention to him
Undecided
No, he's too risky because he's unproven

I'm not overly keen Hendo as an option personally. Don't get me wrong, he's in great form and has a low B/E (which makes him low risk), but if people are bringing him in expecting guaranteed premo numbers, I'd steer clear tbh.

If he was under 340k, I'd be slightly tempted... but at 391k, you'd want to be fairly confident in him going 80+ at least to get real bang for your buck.

Happy to be proven wrong, I just feel like he could come crashing down with a 50-60 at any point. :-\

Would de boer go to him this weekend?

I just have this wierd feeling about hendo. The same feeling as last year when danger was going to break out and I thought he would never accumulate. Now I know they are very different players but gee danger hurt me last year. Hendo is very unlikely to score that week this week I would have thought similar to what happened to malceski last week with the tag. However I haven't watched hendo that closely but it is evident that he is taking reily's role. However he seems to also be taking contested marks. Big call just think we might be a week late for this week.

+1, and I'm a Crows supporter

But he has been playing bloody well. I got Grimes last week, should have got Hendo but he slipped right under my radar...

Considering Terlich to Henderson but yeah very risky not sure if I wanna take it, not confident about his scoring potential against Freo this week

Having said that he has a high ceiling and look at those in his price range too... guys like Shaw, Grimes, Terlich, Goodes, Dempsey, none of whom have been scoring like Hendo has

can't be much worse than Shaw, Grimes, Terlich, Hibberd, Hartlett, Gibbs/Ibbo (of late) and even Enright/Eski

You forgot Duffield who scored 42 on the weekend. ::)

Gotta risk it for the biscuit, just be cautious is all. :P

Getting rid of Hartlett this week. Haven't decided if Hanley, Henderson or Enright.

Sigh.

Hanley for sure I reckon! Last four 83, 125, 84, 99. Has a decent draw coming up and is definitely over that little bad patch that he had mid-season.
Look, I hear you.... and one can make stats say just about anything... BUT:

Two of Hanley's last four are below every score Henderson has since Round 3 - except for two matches when Henderson was injured.

Henderson's last is higher than Hanley's highest this year.

Hanley has gone at 80 or lower 5 times this year, Henderson has gone and 85 and under 4 times this year.

Hanley's last four average = 97.75
Henderson's last four average = 108.25

Henderson is also more of a POD with a 2% ownership.

Henderson is also cheaper.

Henderson also has a lower BE.

I've now picked Henderson.

and now watch him score 20 odd :P

Also, Hanley is out for multiple weeks.

I think I'm jumping on. Probably the lowest BE for an in form defender, and if you're like me you would have 7 "premo" defenders by now (I've got Ellis on my bench), so if his current form is just a flash in the pan, I have cover, but also he should still increase in value so should make a tidy profit if I want to trade him (or Ellis, depends who's performing better) back to Hanley when he returns in 2-4 weeks.

The other option I was considering was ibbo, but I have a feeling he's tiring and returning to the 60-70 player he was. He had a great run, and maybe it's the absence of mcpharlin as the defensive general which is hurting his scores and also hurting freo. I have a feeling Ross will be saving mcpharlin for finals to avoid injury, so I don't think ibbo will keep up his 95 average.

Trent MacKenzie or Ricky Henderson? Who is the better option?

I'm going McKenzie.  I was even before Hanley got injured, so I'm set on that.

why did I read this thread omg now you've convinced me to seriously consider him :/
