Do you have the balls?

Yes, I've already been looking at him
Yes, now that you've brought my attention to him
Undecided
No, he's too risky because he's unproven

essendon2

Ricky Henderson (DEF/FWD) scored 133 points in Round 17 against Geelong, after he backed up the 106 he scored, against Collingwood the previous week.

If you take out his injury-affect 13 & 38, he averages 89.6; making him the 5th highest averaging defender! He hasn't dropped below 87 since Round 3! BE of 10, priced at 378k.... Do you have the guts to get him? I (think I) do.

Ricochet

I picked him up in elite last week  8)

popedelio

wow never really considered him at all. He has some very good numbers, but I'm probably gonna stick with my current back 6. You get a cheer from me buddy hahahaa

me

LF

I'm sure he has started as sub this season as well too risky

Andrew

Plays Freo this week, the only downside but as Adelaide have a dream run afterwards. Does his low breakeven counter the likely low score this week..?

starz

He will start getting the tag soon I would have thought. Can't rack up over 30 touches per week off the half back line I would have thought. Although he has been one of the most consistent backs in the last four to five weeks

Predicting backline tags is becoming the game for our DEF picks. 2 of my picks (Heppell, Malceski) got tagged and another 2 (Grimes & Gibbs) tagged. But Henderson's easy run should alleviate the problem...

henry

Too risky for me, happy with my entire backline anyway so not for me.

essendon2

poses a good replacement for Bartel?

Tominator

jumped on him in Elite this week!

Getting rid of Hartlett this week. Haven't decided if Hanley, Henderson or Enright.

Sigh.

Hanley for sure I reckon! Last four 83, 125, 84, 99. Has a decent draw coming up and is definitely over that little bad patch that he had mid-season.

Look, I hear you.... and one can make stats say just about anything... BUT:

Two of Hanley's last four are below every score Henderson has since Round 3 - except for two matches when Henderson was injured.

Henderson's last is higher than Hanley's highest this year.

Hanley has gone at 80 or lower 5 times this year, Henderson has gone and 85 and under 4 times this year.

Hanley's last four average = 97.75
Henderson's last four average = 108.25

Henderson is also more of a POD with a 2% ownership.

Henderson is also cheaper.

Henderson also has a lower BE.

I've now picked Henderson.
