The definition of troll.

A mythical, cave-dwelling being depicted in folklore as either a giant or a dwarf, typically having a very ugly appearance.

Just note that last part, eh?

just admit that Botham was right and you will always be wrong

Hawka

So it seems Ussie out Wade in
then Starc in Bird out

Not sure how i feel about this, Wade is a great batter but Bird out after one test ?

JBs-Hawks

So I hope Wade is coming in for his bowling and not batting.  If we are that desperate for another batsmen other then khawaja then play Hughes or fly over Ferguson.

Selectors proving their idiocy once again by the sounds of what Hawka's saying... Bird wasn't bad at all last test, to exclude him for Starc is just silly.

I'd prefer starc over bird...look at starc's last performance including a 60 with the bat, far unluckier than bird to be dropped. Bird wasn't awful but rarely looked dangerous.

Don't like the idea of wade being picked as purely a batsman,  would much rather hughes or stick with khawaja. I fail to understand why there is so little conjecture over steve smith, I've repeatedly said that he's not up to it at the moment and is not a test player since the 1st test, he has given nothing at all with the bat. Would rather hughes than him.

The team seems to have a better feel about it with Starc in it. Bird is a genuine number 11 and with Bird and Lyon, the tail is never going to wag. Starc was hard done by to be dropped, he's performed alright in the series.

I'll admit, that last post was probably a bit biased considering Bird is one of my favourite cricketers and Starc one of the ones I dislike most.

I like Bird quite a lot more than starc lol too, but I reckon he was very stiff to be dropped in the first place, and he gives us a better balance with all our other seamers righties.

PowerBug

It's amazing how test cricket as moved on from 6 bats, 1 keeper and 4 bowlers. Now every bowler needs to be able to bat, otherwise there's 50-100 runs gone. And if there's no 5th bowler, there's no variety. Also with the progession in keepers being able to bat, Matt Prior averages over 40! It's crazy, he shouldn't be doing that.

It's certainly made more uncertanty in the game, and more tactics involved etc.. I'm semi for it, I don't like the picking bowlers because they can bat (as suggested above with Starc) however that seems the norm now. :-\
