DRS (Dharmasena Requires Specsavers) cause you could drive a car through Khawaja's bat and the ball

Clarke brings up his century. been a great innings so far, really need him to keep going. Smith batting well also

#187
174 partnership

Michael Clarke becomes the first Australian to face 200+ deliveries in an innings for Australia in the series

England have achieved this 3 times in this series

Everyone who has survived that long has got 100

Jukes is awfully quiet.

Nah seriously though, ripper partnership here. Just hope we can build on this and press on.

Good partnership, a captain's knock from Clarkey is such an important game. Disappointing Rogers couldn't go on and make his ton, hopefully Smith can, and Clarke can make it another big double. When we need to push up the run rate as well, don't forget who is coming in next ;)

Clarke is the best cricketer in the world - what an innings

Did not get involved in a lot of the banter last night as I may have posted something I regretted.  Suffice to say I am angry for two main reasons:
a) Uzzie is probably playing for his career and gets this atrocious decision. Will not be remembered when review is undertaken
b) The decision was so blatantly wrong and it cost Australia one of its 2 reviews.

Was pleased to see that it was on the other foot at last for England using their reviews early and as a result unable to appeal Smith's LBW decision which looked very adjacent.

Interesting to hear Rogers comments after the match where he said even some of the English did not think Uzzie was out.

Another interesting comment after the game was is it time to review Neutral umpires and appoint the best umpires to these matches whether English or Australian. Not sure whether you know but this panel of umpires have been appointed for the whole 10 match series with Billy Bowden now being added, Bear in mind these neutral umpires make the howling decision in the first place.

If DRS is going to be continued to be used my suggestion would be that we have a Panel of 10 umpires who will be trained in the use of technology and reading of it and these fully trained technologically savvy cricket umpires will be used as third umpires.

Australia has officially sought clarification on the Uzzie dismissal.

My real beef with DRS is for the decision to be overturned from not out to out more than a third of the ball must be hitting the stumps to allow for so called technological errors which is fine so conversely if a batsmen is given out and less than a third of the ball is hitting the stumps rather than back to umpires call they should be given not out to be fair, Not an equal situation so my thought and I still strongly believe if it is hitting it is out regardless.

Sorry for the length but I thought I would wait till commentating.
