I can't believe the way that umpires interpret this now. Fair enough giving it out on field, the wrong call, but its ok cos we have DRS if we need it, which is fine.

But recently the 3rd umpire feels they have to go with the on field umpires decision. For some reason the ball has to be 5 cm away from the bat until the third umpire is sure the batsman hasn't hit it. What a load of bullshower. The technology is there, there was no noise, there was nothing on hot spot, if that is not enough to overturn a decision, then what is? How much clearer could it actually be? There is absolutely no point in having tje review system if that is not overturned.

Missing the ball like that is like getting a green light in an lbw decisikn when the ball misses the stumps. Third umpire from this test should be sacked. Hope someone in their press conference tonight finally says thats it, these umpires can't get a decision right even when we review it. They should be sacked or we don't play another test. There is absolutely no point playing if the umpires cannot even give a simple decision correctly.

They cost us the first test match, they bloody well better not cost us a second. If they do, when they come to Australia, thy will cop it just as much as Stuart Broad.

Noone can doubt that the decision of not out in the 1st test dramatically reduced our chances of winning. Not saying that we would have won for sure because you can never be certain with these things, but we would have had a much better chance.

Likewise, Ussie got a howler then and should still be in. If you can logically deny either of those things you are more of an idiot than the 3rd umpire,

I know this a forum and people are free to vent, dog and moan... but really, what does it achieve? It's not like they're going to overturn the decision or give Australia the win because a bunch of blokes on a forum, Twitter and Facebook are crying foul. And people saying shower like 'They're gonna cop so much shower when they come here', like... I don't get that. How is that gonna solve anything? Is hurling abuse at people going to make them change their decisions every time to favour your team? Like, okay. You're pissed off, but there's no need for petty personal attacks on people.
