Looking to next year for a second...

I don't know what the criteria for a dual position player is, but does anyone think Wingard could get a Fwd/Mid DPP in 2014?

I would love to lock him into my forward line next year :D

100% will be dpp. Plays more forward than mid and has kicked a lot of goals

Degsman

WOOO! :D

Definitely has kicked a lot of goals and gets a few disposals to boot :)

Only concern I would have is that he has slipped under the radar a bit being such a young player having a break out year. He will cop a lot more attention and tags next season though. Should be able to work his way through it but for a young player it can be testing so I think I will look to him as an upgrade target rather than someone I start with just to see how he handles it

Degsman

Agreed

Although with his ability to go forward (as well as spend time in the middle) he would have the ability to break a hard tag
Take dangerfield as a good example :)

I will definitely be seeing him in my forward line at some point next year :)

Seriously guys why put his name out there like that. Now everyone knows to get him next year. There goes a possible unique lol

quinny88

Think everyone is onto it already coxy :P

Had him from day one so for me that was a bonus inclusion. Still going to upgrade him, maybe to beams for the finals :)

Hagebear

Could get the Zorko second year blues!

Was also thinking that Jarred McVeigh has a chance to be DEF/MID after playing most of his game in defence and posting super scores in SC especially this year, Thoughts?

Also a certainty

Any others ?

The way Voss is coaching could see every Lions player have DEF/MID/RUCK/FWD status...

Our backlines could be very hard to pick next year! With potential picks like:

Andrew Walker, Sam Mitchell, Jarryd McVeigh, Kade Simpson, a bargain Matt Suckling, as well as the usual Goddard and Gibbs if they retain DP (Which i doubt)

Will be tough!
