He got 51 touches last time he played Collingwood, repeating the dose wouldn't be too far fetched.

See, this is how I saw it. He got 51 last time round because no-one went to him. It was never going to really hurt if he got 50-odd. I figured that with the vast improvement in the Suns this year, there would be no way known the Pies would allow him to run around like an unregistered dog again, and would send Caff to him.

Apparently I was wrong!

Mate, I did the same thing, no regrets. You still get Gazza's 178, the only time it would be the wrong idea is if your opponent had a VC/C on Ablett. IMO that makes it trickier. But if it was a Pendles/GAJ loophole and pendles got you 140, would you have questioned it?

Mildly annoying but the right call!

Yeah true, just glad I wasn't alone on this one. Lots of good coaches would have done it. Except my opponent. :(
