Watching game on delay, left my football training early so didn't find out the score. Just got a text ruining the game for me.

Just watched the last quartet wish I didn't get that text what a game

That's not a choke I'm happy they came back. Carlton were the chokers today.

Choke? Not exactly. Shoe was on the other foot this time. I think they relished being the hunter rather than the hunted!
Think there was less than a minute to go when the ball got out the back and boomer just had to gather and run into an open goal but the ball just didn't sit for him. He would gobble that up 99 times out of 100 I reckon. Sums up norths season really. They will be top 4 next season IMO

I dunno quinny, I would call that as well, but they have several players that are sitting in an awkward age bracket that could just drop off and leave a bunch of holes.

I would expect the top 4 next season to be Collingwood, Geelong, Hawthorn (even without Buddy, might drop off the year after though), Fremantle.

Sydney, Richmond, Essendon after that.

Can't really see North getting that close.

Carlton, Gold Coast, Port fighting for that 8th spot.

Not really sure where the improvement will come from for Carlton.

North should be able to get into 8th, maybe GC. Depends on draw somewhat.

roo boys!

Exactly Holz/quinny, not a choke. Was happy with the comeback from North, showed a lot more ticker than recent weeks.

North are capable of being a side that can be a top 4 side, but the bigger issue is who will drop out of the 4? Bit like someone making 100 every week in the magoos but everyone in the 1s is making runs, hard to break in until someone slips up.

Long way to go for that to happen for North though, I think we'll just look back on 2013 as the year that we let slip, wipe that off the record and move on.

At least finishing lower on the ladder could help a little with the draw? North got shafted draw wise for making the 8 last year, could return to an easier draw next year.

Reminds me a lot of Essendon 2009-present.

Just barely made the finals (Essington 2009, Norf 2012) but got absolutely thrashed in the first week.
Screwed up the next season, copped a lot of criticism for their performances, their unaccountable game style sees some unfortunate losses.

The season after that (Essington 2011, Norf 2014) they return to the finals, still one of the lesser teams in the top 8 but they are a much better team than they were in their first finals appearance.

After that they kind of flounder around for a bit, but eventually become one of the teams that actually has the potential to do damage in September. (Norf 2015?)

Could be totally wrong though.

roo boys!

Looks like we're just about due for some AOD then!

Don't get ahead of yourself! You're a couple of years off that yet. ;)
