Bryce Gibbs... ?

Seen him break out of a jog once in 60 mins of football. Can't believe I am watching a highly rated AFL footballer!
Couple of minutes to go in the second, the man he is tagging (Ziebell) gets possesion literally half a foot away and he does nothing!

Refuses to get a hard ball in dispute, tackle, or contest a mark. If he isn't injured then surely he deserves a run in the 2nds

P.S. Mundy runs a close second

Yeah come on mate ! Bad judgement - Gibbs has been okay but not very good fantasy wise.

But hope this abuse thread makes him go nuts now ! ;)

Define ok  ???

Been watching him closely the last few weeks. I stand by my comments and I'm sure others will too

His playing a defensive role - I wouldn't expect him to rack up touches mate.

Plus I know it's frustrating when players aren't doing well. But Gibbs is playing for Carlton.

Not the way we want him to play for fantasy footy.

Usually I would agree vinny but his defensive role was pretty poor. Ziebell was by himself multiple times. I just don't think Gibbs is the sort of guy that should be used as a tagger. Why waste one of your best ball users and accumulators tagging someone else's good players? This is the first Carlton game I've seen for a few weeks but is this the role he has been playing recently? Would explain his poor scores. Might be time to move him on if this is his new role

Yeah Quinny your right - His not the man for that job.

I was just saying that - Gibbs had a bad game for SC cause he was playing the defensive role.

Just thought it was a bit far saying he was lazy thats all :P

Stupid thread

+1

Carlton won. That's all that matters to them. I don't think Malthouse cares about your fantasy teams.

Yeah definitely agree. He's not a tagger, it's just not natural to him but he was certainly not lazy. He laid 7 tackles

A little harsh.

He played head to head with Ziebell. Against a guy who is such a strong body Gibbs will always struggle a little, but defensively he held his own.
There must be a reason he played a role like this tonight. I don't believe this will be his long term position but maybe Mick has some logic behind it.

But Lazy, Harsh

I looked at the topic of this thread and immediately thought B Gibbs.

What does that mean?

He is in my team.

Pretty high draft pick and possibly only second to Jonathan Livingston.

Close - yes.

My mate Buddy also should get a nomination

And Betts and Garlett and Davey but not Puopolo.
