***Rumour***   I heard on SEN radio ( by a caller ringing in ) this am that Buddy was seen crying last night at training and was being consoled by Gibson. Was overhead being asked "what the Dr had said" ..assumption being made he may be out for a while/season due to his knee.  Again I am asserting RUMOUR.  but thought I would post for info only.

Interesting, also you have an excellent cheer to boo ratio of 1019/72

Already GAWNNNNN for me regardles shortly i will have JJK/Rocky cover depending who they are playing and if SJ can stop getting suspended...

If true, was he crying because he is out for the season or crying because he is a free agent and could see dollars evaporating?

me

couldn't care less...

a) he hasn't even been starting on the ground for me
b) he's gone this weekend regardless

He's been riding my pine so no biggy either way.  If he is out for the year, you'd think he's played his last game for hawthorn.

I was thinking the opposite.
If he won a premiership with Hawks this year he'd leave like GAJ did
or if they didn't he would stay to win another

, buddy will never get a deal ever again like GWS are offering, he'd be silly to not grab it, is he's out for the year and is crying, I think it's a sad realisation his time at hawthorn is over

As for Gaj, I think he would have left with or without a premiership, these guys realise they are not in footy forever. Different to the old days where there was club loyalty, doesn't seen to exist as much anymore. It's just like the NBA!!!!!

That bad! Imagine the AFL's offseason was like this year (and next years) NBA off season!  Trades and free agency aplenty!

club loyalty still exists strongly within the game regardless if buddy leaves or not. he's just one example of a player leaving for money and there are a few more. but you'd argue most gun players will remain a one-club champion for their career. AFL will never fall to the level of NBA loyalty-wise.

GCS and GWS have shaken it up a lot. Lots of cash to splash around. There's still not that much of it happening between other clubs.
