I disagree, KdB has shown a lot this pre-season and it'd be wrong to not give him an opportunity early.

Oscar>kdb ainec. So what if kdb has been playing well in pre season. He will get his chance when mata isnout for the first 2 games.

Oscar is great, don't get me wrong, but he is far from a walk-up start.

I'm a very strong believer in "You're only as good as your last performance". Oscar has been mediocre his pre-season and even late last season when he began to tire.

He was awesome in the confed and pre season doesnt really mean that much. Schurrle>kdb too. Only good thing going for kdb is that he can play centre mid. He is more flexible than schurrle and oscar.

I think you're under-rating pre-season. Obviously teams are not going all out but KdB has dominated some good sides!

Regardless of how important you see pre-season, KdB is in ripping form giving it his all. Oscar/Schurrle have been mediocre (though Schurrle's volley against AC Milan was delicious) and honestly if they don't realise they have some serious competition yet then they should.

All I'm saying is KdB 100% deserves a game in GW1 given the effort/performances he's put in over the pre-season matches.

I thing you are over rating pre season big time. Tom cleverley played for a united pre season game vs balencia about 4/5 years ago.he onlybroke out last year. Milan lalkovic played a pre season game for chelsea 3 years ago, hasnt started a game since.

Clearly I disagree and those two cases are completely different to this one. Cleverly/Lalkovic were simply making up numbers and getting some rotation through them. KdB is a legit shot at GW1. He came on at HT for Oscar this morning vs Real Madrid and was wayyyyy better.

If KdB doesn't start vs Hull I'll slit my nutsack.

He will prob start due to Mata being out.... He won't be a consistent starter for Chelsea this year with Oscar/Schurlle healthy.
