I did have a pretty good team last year that got hit by mass injuries which resulted in me getting the spoon and mass picks. Douglas i picked up in the rookie draft. Goddard i got before he moved clubs for my 2nd round pick in mumford + extra stuff.

Goldy i picked up cheap for Shuey + extra when he was averaging only 78. Gibbs was my first round pick so him getting DPP really helped.

got pendles for cotchin which at the time people said I was losing out in the trade


I did trade away alot of youth and have no bench I lost JOM!!!! , Shiel, Coniglio, Ellis, Polec, Knights, Brodie Smith, Shuey to get guys like Shaw and Lids.

basically guys like eski, cloke, gibbs, lecras massively imrpvoed from the year before.

and guys i brougth in Goddard, Shaw, Goldy,Walker,Boomer all are doing better than i thougth they would,

At the time is was really 50/50. Pendles coming off an injury year i thought he was good for a 113-116, he is beating my expectation this year. Cotchin was coming off a 120 in the second half of the season and people were talking about him being the new swan.

was worried about a come down, he hasnt switched roles like rocky did though, at worst i was thinking 108+

I was a bit iffy on that trade, and I dunno if I would have done it in that situation-  I did think the security of pendles scoring  dominated cotchin though :P
