Could one hold both??

The Age mentions round 19 return for Watson.  :-\

I am holding Watson ATM . . .
If your league is under control , I can't see why you can't old both . . . Both are top 8 mids . .

A couple of easier match ups this week might just persuade me to hold.

GCSkiwi

Yeah play by ear based  off your match ups...

Danger worth holding. Watson less so - Danger shoul return earlier and less affected, Watson could be out longer, have a bit of injury hangover (and was slumping a little when he was taken out). Not convinced he'll come back full force in SC relevant time.

would prob hold danger and trade jobe

IF Watson returns in rd 19 - will you be confident playing him in front of Mitchell/Priddis or whoever else you have by that stage? He'd need to impress me in his first game back to even be considered for the following week, especially given that it's SC finals time!!

the kicker for me with watson is that he might come back to fitness in the next 3-5wks, but then get canned when the asada inquiry is finished early august.

No point in holding Jobe... There's gona be an announcement in the next few weeks that Essendon will be stripped of all premiership points this season and unable to play finals and a few players will be banned for 6 months, most likely Jobe being one of them.

LOL... if I get 1 cent for everytime someone who knows someone who's dog's vet's neighbour's cat knows something about what will happen to Essendon... I'll be rich...

Give it a break omg.

Footyrulz

I reckon 1 should probably go, but...

If youre going for league, in a good league position and u will have 4 or less trades going into finals I reckon thats absolutely fine to hold both.

i'd be pretty certain that sydneys club doctor would know about as much as the average man in the street when it comes to what the penalties, if any, are going to be.

what you listed is certainly a possibility though, as some media have suggested lately.

I would hold both for now, IF you can...

Definitely keep you ear to the ground on Watson and make a call if any news comes out that is worse than current. If in the next few weeks you are looking at a donut, then maybe look to offload Watson, then Danger in that order.

If you keep both, it gives you some options very late in the piece. Who knows which of the currently playing prem mids will be available for the last 3-4 rounds! These guys can then be your emergency if your a little iffy on thier return form which isn't a bad position to be in.

Really depends on the amount of trades and player options you have DrNo1. Personally and with only 3 trades left I would trade Jobe out and have a good look at Danger's time out opposed to D Beams salary cap drop, and perhaps if the timing were right swap them, around or during early finals time. Best of luck mate, would love to see you kill it.
