Plenty of $$ but want to keep it for upgrading to Stevie J and ousting spuddy.

With 7 trades I would say its worth the risk.
I got 6 trades left and looking to bring him in also.
if I remember correctly, demons run home isn't very hard too

I do believe I have seen him on a couple of 'never again' lists.

Hibberd, McKenzie (sorry vinny beat you to it) Ibbottson or Shaw will do better. I know they're more expensive but with 7 trades left you should have a couple spare for cash generation.

Also, regarding Melbourne's draw, when a team is 2 and 13 with a percentage of barely over 50, there is no such thing as a good draw.

Grimes played 27 out of 28 games in a row before breaking his colarbone (an injury that coudl happen to anyone), he was able to run around with his injury as it wasnt a leg injury, so his fitness should be right up there

95 average taking out his sub game priced at 377k

I would bring him in. As Holz said it was unlucky he was injured and it could've happen to anyone. If I needed to bring in a defender Grimes would be my first option. He's very cheap.

Of the cheap options you can't go past him.
I decided to get him yesterday. Just hope he can stay on the park. If he does he will be gold at his price.
Had to do something about my backs as I had Thurlow, Wright and Clisby as last 3.
Thurlow and Wright bye bye for Grimes and cheap DPP (X Richards) which gives me Staker as an option if I need him.

Yep pull that trigger mate, think Grimes while still being a risk is a very handy pickup at that price.

Terlich needs to go too, personally I'm ousting Hartlett for a more solid option (Shaw/Ibbo) but if you need the cash for Buddy -> Stevie J like you say Grimes would be the way to go.
