Looking to get one or the other in by next week. My head is thinking Barlow is the better choice but Griff is averaging better and will be only be about $620k. Barlow however will be around the $600k mark.

Barlow- Great POD in a good team and scoring well. Has a good draw from here on in. Started the year slow but has smashed it since then. Loves to beat up on the easy teams.

Griff- Another POD having a super year and also has a great draw. In a team where he is the best player and is often tagged but a lot of the time to no impact. Has had a lean last two weeks.

Already have Ablett, Pendlebury, Swan, Dangerfield, JPK, Selwood and Priddis.
Andrew Swallow is the man to go for either of these two.

Opinions and votes appreciated !

Wait a week at least.

Both have quite high price drops looming.

Griffen. But not this week and probably not next either looking at his BE.

redevilfc

barlow now then griff when boyd is back
griff in for priddis

You'd want a good few trades left and a great team to be getting rid of Priddis at this stage.

Good luck.

Barlow.. had him for 4 weeks and hasn't let me down, however if you can get both.. don't hesistate.. although Griffen is going through his traditional down period

that's the thing I love about Griffin... His down form is 100

Anomaly last week because his first 1/4 de was so terrible

I got Griff few weeks back and has been great. Got a bit of a corky last week, should be fine to play this week. Where Boyd might also return, which I think will help his scoring again

Still have not seen Griffen put together a full season of good scores example last weeks score he needs to crack out a big one this week and and take advantage of his season so far not fall away as he has done in previous years if he can then I will be a on the bandwagon.

Poll is close but I'm slightly leaning towards Barlow. Has a much better run even if they are both good draws, but Griff has Geelong, Hawthorn, Sydney, WCE and Carlton over a block of 5 weeks whereas Barlow has much easier teams. If I have one trade up my sleeve come the last two weeks ill upgrade Mitchell to Griff.
Anyone else got an opinion?

I agree. Barlows scores are you remarkable. I just dont trust Griffen. Flavour of the month but will get back to his old ways soon. Once boyd comes back he will steal a lot of posessions and points of Griffen.

I'm sorry but that is just not true. With boyd in the team he's got an average of around 140 with a low score of 101 and second lowest of 129.

If anything he scores higher when Boyd is in the team because he gets less attention

And he always butchers it and goes at about 60% efficiency. Noooo thanks.

You can also look at it this way... which so many clangers and low DE still manages to get 100+ most weeks. Just imagine if his DE lift abit? He is racking up heaps of touches which means more opportunity to score.
