Yep, absolute no brainer. We're talking about a guy who averaged 92 last year and was tipped by many to go the next step and push a 95+ average this year. I can't ignore that potential at 360k.

Durability is a massive risk, but theres 7 games left. Surely he'll be able to make it through unscathed?

tempting for me, but depends on lineups

Exactly. And at his current price, if he does get injured he won't lose much money if any. If he goes wrong I'll just turn him into Enright, but otherwise Grimes looks like a great pick and something that's going unnoticed at the moment is how easy Melbourne's run home is. They're still a poor team but not a basket case anymore, Grimes should go BANG. Terlich has been playing his rebound from defence role so will Grimes play midfield?

I disagree with this. When he was very injury prone it was soft tissue injuries that were holding him back. It appears he is over them and this was a freak accident that caused a break/fracture. It could of happend to anyone

Terlich to Grimes for me.
Get Grimes in he's a gun and under priced.

People looking to make some cash (like me)
Why not Terlich ----> smurph?

I have goddard in my mids atm, but im planning on going
Terlich ----> Murphy
O' Meara -----> Stanton

Which will leave my team at:
Backs - Goddard, Heppel, Gibbs, Enright, Ibbotson, Hanley (Goodes and Clisby) ~ Seems set to me
Mids - Swan, Pendles, Ablett, Kornes, Stanton, Deledio, Titch, Murphy (Crouch and Hrovat) ~ Will be looking to go Crouch - Griffen or Barlow next week
Rucks - Cox, Goldstein (Nicholls and Currie)
Forwards - Bartel, Martin, NRoo, Rockliff, Kennedy, Stevie J (Franklin and Staker) ~ May bring in Stokes

What's his BE?

Grimes BE is 50 according to footywire

Yeah that's pretty much the same as assistant coach who have it at 49

its me lads

I'll be jumping on I reckon. Terlich out for him which makes money. If shower hits the fan then I've got a premium spud Hartlett on the bench  :P

Ricochet

This is the only thing that concerns me about Jack

(And no its not that he plays for Melbourne  :P )

Missed one game last year and was unlucky to be injured this year.  I don't think there's much to worry about here, especially at his price and especially if you're trading Terlich to him.  You're trading out a rookie, trading in a known scorer and you're making money.  There's very little downside in this trade imo.

ADEZ

Just traded Terlich and Caffa to Grimes (D6) and Marc Murphy (M9) for a profit of 56k  :o

CFC 1979

TS has him at ( and his figures are spot on )

$362 400
BE 36
Last Rnd - $21 300
salary move this week $14 672

Now is the time if you want him
