This is looking to be a good game, I can't wait to watch it. Pav & Ballentyne both gone, if Mayne was a late out I'd give the tigers the benefit of the doubt. Can't tell now with Ballentyne out, important player from the Dockers and would have occupied Richmond's best defender.. McPharlin's omission due to injury will also maim them and unless Duffield returns it'll mean Ibbo or Johnson will be racking up the points (hopefully Ibbo for my dt's sake). Looks to be good, too me either way both teams are ahead of Port on the ladder so I don't mind who wins, Freo are my 2nd favourite team (doesn't really mean shower though  :P ) but I have to say it is in my best interest for a tiger victory as my dreamteam has Ibbo (better if the game is played in Freo's back 50) and from Richmond I have Dusty & Cotchin so lets hope that I can get a big score from all three ;D

I don't get why everyone is so anti-richmond though, I think they will be a top 4 team soon, they have an abundance of young talent and they all seem quite discipline (lack of discipline in my opinion is what's holding Carlton back, they have the players to be a top tier team but they are mostly bogans and trouble makers that lack any leadership (Murphy & Swallow aren't good captains, Firruto & Judd should have retained the captaincy until a more proven leader was established). Cotchin is quite a good captain (exclude if omissions and affected season from injury) and a step up from Newman but at 23 he still seems very young for the role but hey Boak is 24 and Port's best captain since Tredrea :)

Nails, get a grip mate. Freo wont beat us by 50 at the G. Cant remember the last time we were belted at the G. We lost to them by 1 point earlier in the year at subiaco where they play their best footy. And Brisbane are no threat, we will smack them at the G. Also yeah we have beat one team in the 8 but we are a lower 8 side so obviously that would be the case? We lost to Geelong and Essendon who are both top 4, Freo by a point and Collingwood. There is no shame in any of those, they are all better sides than us.

Powersuperkents, I agree the game is Cairns was far from impressive but the conditions there are terrible for AFL footy. The wind was blustering to one end, it was hot, slippery and humid, ill take any win up their no matter how ugly.

Ballantyne out is a massive bonus for us. Im confident we'll get the job done
