I reckon we will need 13 wins to be assured a top 8 position this year without having to worry about other results, percentage etc.
So where do the come from?

Syd @SCG
Haw @MCG
Bris @MCG
Carl @MCG
Gws @skoda
Ess @MCG

Should beat Brisbane and GWS from that bunch which gives us 12 wins but the others are very tough games.
I think we can beat Freo this week. We lost to them in the dying seconds at Subi earlier in the year.
Pav was the difference when we played them at the G last year kicking 6 goals but he will be a likely out after being reported for a head high bump on the weekend.
Sydney at the SCG is mission impossible. We always play well against Hawthorn and did belt them last season but you would mark that with a cross at this point. Then there is Carlton and Essendon. Carlton are better than their record suggests and Essendon are top 4 material this season. Need to win one of those.

How many wins do you see us finishing on for the season?

I actually reckon we'll win 4 of the those remaining 7.

Freo, Brisbane, GWS and Carlton should be wins. However, knocking off one of Essendon, Hawthorn or Sydney would be awesome.

You beat us by a point or something earlier in the year at subi. At the G its a whole new kettle of fish. I think its a 50/50 game.
Helps us that you dont have Mcpharlin and probably Pav as well

We didnt have Pav last time and McPharlin was only just back in after being out (susp or injury - cant remember).  Sandi improved from last week so should be better again next week.  Maric gonna have a tough time against Clarke/Sandi and maybe Hannath (if he comes in for Pav)

I know but you did have Pav last time you played us in Melbourne and he was the difference. Mcpharlin may have been underdone last time but he dominated Riewoldt so hopefully Riewoldt can kick a few this time.
Maric will certainly have his work cut out.
Its Walters and Ballantyne that im most worried about. Very hard to stop both of them
