He was outmarked once by a first gamer, every other marking contest he had to compete with at least 2 or 3 other defenders. 

It wasn't pretty watching our young, inexperienced midfield just bombing it in to the forward line (and experienced players like Crowly - every kick of his was up and under - arrggghhh).  Was nothing like we had played in the previous 2 rounds of the NAB Cup.  Probably due to not having Johnson for a half (sub), no mayne, no balla, no headland.

I hate people who bag Freo for the sake of bagging them.  I have no problem with critical analysis of the team (I am one of the worst).  Ask my missus, I was yelling at the bloody midfield bombing it long in to the forward line all bloody day long.  It was so frustrating watching yesterday's game compared to the first 2 weeks game.

Yes we got flogged and I expected that, but please dont post crap.  Players like Pav, Brown, Fev, Voldt etc will never take a lot of marks if the ball is bombed long and they have to beat 2 or 3 opponents every time.

Hey, people do that for Collingwood just for sport :) take it as a compliment. It's when people don't care that I start to panic!

I only bag Collingwood because of Eddie and the fact you guys get the best fixtures every season.

Well, I only bag Fremantle cos of only 2 finals appearances in 15 years  :P

Actually you should be bagging Fremantle for their coach choices over the years.

Harvey is the first coach I have been happy with his choices and I think the club should re-sign him to see if he can do something with the team he has brought together.  Half the team is new in the last 2 seasons and he needs to be given the chance to get runs on the baord.

Pav is always first picked in my side, but he was terrible against the Saints. I'm actually having 2nd thoughts but he leaves a hole in my side without his usual presence.

Now forget bagging Freo, back to Carlton. Where is their marketing campaign this summer? Some suggestions "They know we don't have a forward line" or "They know we're still on a booze cruise".
