I got in Richard Douglas ! Pretty happy !  I'd take the punt on boomer

Thanks J.R. I'm started to get excited about Boomer, he looks really fresh, works hard and he's always one of North's best players...

with the amount of trades you have left and the 550,000 from watson and the 22,000 it gives you a lot of options if you want to go all out.
- You can afford K.Jack and ROK both consistent and in good form.
- there is also cotchin who is at his cheapest at about 490,000.
- Sam mitchel is almost a POD and very consistent at about 515,000
- If you have got the win this week you could keep him and wait for someone to drop in price as watson will not.
- Keep him as a massive Risk/Reward because with everyone trading him out he will be a POD when he comes back around finals time(Hopefully)

Watson is only $528K

thats why i suggested Joelwood since he's low on funds and trades.

Ramus

With only 4 trades left I have chosen to keep him as a cash reserve for anything unforseen and use T.Mitchell as M8. You might want to do the same, but this means playing Hrovat. If you are happy to use up one of your last four trades J.Selwood or Boomer are good choices, I have Harvey in my forward line and he has been pretty solid, but I don't have Jelwood in my team. If I do trade Watson out in the next couple of weeks it will be for Selwood, he is at a good price and should score well for the rest of the year.

Thanks guys, so you wouldn't worry about DPP...

Jroo

I like Sam Mitchell, he's a POD and he's been scoring well lately. If you don't want Mitchell then Jelwood is the other option.
What about Marc Murphy? Do you like him? He has a high BE and is set to drop under $400k next week and make him a bargain buy. You could play Hrovat this week and get Murph in next week.

tor01doc

Wait a week and target Griffen.

Watson plus one of Docherty, Lamb, Hrovat, Vlastuin will get you Griffen and a cheapie who is fantasy irrelevant or if lucky, might get games like Hunter?? or Daniher.

I worded it wrong but it was meant to say Watson plus the 22,000 equals 550,000 which can get you any number of players Walker, Mitchel, Deledio, Cotchin, Cornes, Montagna.

I'd probably hold while you have coverage, as a number of premo midfielders will be dropping in price over the next few weeks (Griffen, Danger, etc)  Just depends on whether you are going for overall or league wins, plus your ladder position

my bad... those are all decent options.
Walker for DPP, still would rather take Joelwood.

i get what your saying, but with only 5 trades shouldnt he hold on to as many as he can for Finals??
and lets be honest, if TMitchell was his cover then yeh hold on, but he's already got Mitchell on the field and Hrovat is his cover. Not good enough if you ask me.

trade him out mate.

That's where I was going, hold on to as many trades for finals, so hold this week and for as long as possible while able to cover Watson, and might get lucky with an early return by him (saving a trade in the process).  If you HAVE to trade, then imo the better options will be over the next couple of weeks, not this week.  But yeah, I agree that Hrovat isn't good enough coverage if going for overall ranking, or needing league wins.
