Backs: Goddard, Gibbs, H.Taylor, Harlett, Houli, Hanley.....(Docherty, Clisby)

Mids: GAJ, Pendles, Dangerfield, Cotchin, J.Selwood, Mundy, JPK, T. Mitchell.....(K. Martin, B. Jack)

Rucks: McEvoy, Jacobs......(Nicholls, Rowe)

Trades left 4, $422.3K in the kitty

Am very tempted to go Jacobs -> Kreuzer and K.Martin to any mid under 561K (Jack, O'Keefe, Deledio....)

but 2 trades left makes me nervous haha

I wouldn't waste the trade in Martin mate, Mitchell is doing a superb job at M8 so you just have to wait for him to fatten.

In the meantime I'd go straight past Kreuzer and get in either Goldy of Minson. Jacobs is a liability, so you need him out ASAP.
Mitchell can be a mid upgrade when he reaches 450-500k to someone like Griff or Swan. 3 trades and plenty of cash until finals is just about good enough mate. Only thing that will trouble you is if Ablett is out then you'll be hoping one of Martin or Jack get a game.

Good luck to you mate.

yeah thats the other option is to go straight to Goldy with Jacobs.....only hole is i was going to keep Mitchell as bench cover for finals which might be important given the limited number of trades elft

Kreuzer has been racking up very good SC scores this year. I think he is a good option if your looking to save a little cash.

Just depends if you think you will need the extra 50k come finals to upgrade Mitchell / Martin.

With just the 4 trades left I reckon you should hold for the moment mate. Save those trades for any LTI's and restings during SC finals and do your upgrades later in the season if trades permit.

T Mitchell at M8 is fine for the moment. Hopefully K Martin can get back into the Magpies side and make some more money before considering to upgrade him later on. I would keep T Mitchell for the rest of the year and push him to M9 once you upgrade K Martin.

I reckon you should hold Jacobs too. You can always use Rowe to loophole Nicholls and Jacobs in the games where Carlton play after one of GC or Adelaide. If you still have 3 or 4 trades for SC finals then upgrading Jacobs should be considered.

yup that's option number 3 haha hold till finals and then move on Jacobs and Martin......just sitting outside the 8 in 3 of 5 leagues is tempting me to push the trades through a little earlier though

Because of your league positions I would go Jacobs for either Goldy or Minson and then sit.
Jacobs could be the difference between you being top 8 or not. No good having trades if you have nowhere to take them.

Goldy is only $50k more than Kreuz so go with gut on this one. Alternately as has been said just hold until needed unless needing to win to stay in League Top 8.

Thankx guys, ill wait for teams n then have another look, i think Jacobs has to go, he is costing me 30-40 points a week over Goldy and Minson in other teams

i think the rest holds up ok until finals

sammy123

jacobs to goldy or minson. Both have racked up the points this year. 2 stand out ruck men.

Hold!!!!! 4 trades is not a lot and Jacobs and mitchell are both fine.

You've got to be kidding me! Jacobs is not doing fine, he is doing terrible! With $422k in the bank he could spend $145k and get an extra 30 points each game by getting either Goldy or Minson. If he has the cash to do it he should definitely do it! 3 trades will be just enough to finish the year unless an unforeseeable run of LTI's comes and hurts us all. I did the Jacobs to Goldy trade 3 weeks ago and I couldn't be any happier.

Jacobs should score better in the next couple of weeks. Because when Mckernan doesn't play Jacobs gets more ruck time and often plays better.
Out of Jacobs top 6 games for the year, 5 of them he scored when Mckernan wasn't playing.
Mckernan has missed 7 games for the year.

But also saying that he has a tough draw in terms of opposition rucks coming up.
Could go alright on Friday night against Collingwokd with no Jolly, and then has Vardy/Blicavs but after that has Sandi/Clarke, aswell as Goldy, Minno, and Cox/Nic Nat still to play. He'll get dominated in every one of those games.
Better off to cull him now and have Goldy or Minno, who will score plenty more points in the long run. Imagine copping a Jacobs 60-70 in the next few weeks against a Goldy/Minno 120-130 which they both do quite often. With the cash and decent amount of trades left (compared to others) I see it as a must.
