What's the minimum amount of trades that you should have come finals?

I have 1 trade left but a complete team with good bench coverage everywhere except forward bench (B.Kennedy, Daniher)  :o

If I have my trade left come finals I will trade Mitchell (M9) to a mid/forward premium like Rioli or Walker to give myself forward/mid bench coverage.  ;)

But think I need to get rid of Watson, and put Hanley in instead.
I might as well do Monfries to Stevie J this week as well.

So, that would leave me with three trades and I hope to be able to keep 3 for the foreseeable future.

My coverage is not great though -

Vlaustin & Hrovat
Hannath & Rowe
Staker & Neade

But, it is not too terrible though either.

Fairly complete team, I mean, every player is averaging over 90 with every mid player averaging over 100 :)

Would be very happy this way if there were not 4 more games before the finals. Rated under 4000, undefeated in 2 leagues, 2nd in 2 others whist 4th in the other. Have been in 11 SC Grand Finals so far for 11 seconds, so Hope no-one out there has a team similar to mine so that they at least have some chance of winning. Might back myself for the Quinella though. Best of luck to all.

Currently have 10 but bringing in Hanley this week and last premo mid week after.
So around 7 left.
I reckon you need to set yourself up well with good coverage including dpp where possible.
I will have Mitchell and Crouch in mids but will have Staker via MPP to switch between D7 and F7 with McCaffer and Clisby .
With Nicholls as R3 along with McBean if really needed.

I'll have 6 with a completed team if Terlich and Goodes are keepers at M5/M6 and nobody else gets hurt. So in other words, I'll end up with less than 6.

I shouldn't have less than 3 unless shower really goes wrong, though.

I assume he wasn't fully concentrating while he was typing. I do kinda zone out a little and make mistakes like that every now and then.

Any decent coach knows its a marathon and you dont win the comp in july. A lot of gun players get booked into surgery early from the teams that wont finish in the top 8 during our finals. I lot of teams rest players - especially teams that have to make a long plane trip if their mposition is locked in on the ladder.

There are always massive curve balls thrown around during our finals

Ill have 3 trades left heading into SC finals with 4 left at the moment.

Bench cover will look like this.

Def: Clisby, Oxley
Mids: T Mitchell, Hrovat
Rucks: Nicholls, Currie
Fwds: Franklin, B Kennedy

Franklin will be used for loophole and first week of finals Nichollls to Mcbean leaving me with two trades and $270,000.
Griff and SJ main two targets I think.

I'd be more worried about players rested than injuries the last few rounds.  Therefore 4 trades IMO is needed.  Bench cover is good, but the ability to flick a Bartel for another primo could save your finals match.

If you want to go for a league win i think you need about 4. I alwasy go for overall, bascially win the minor premiership every year and in good leagues I never can win the whole thing.

the weakenss is that backline if webster cant come back. A late out might mean haynes or hroovaat have to play but I have a premo in Rocky floating around in the middle and up front.

So I'm looking ad 4-5 trades for finals which I reckon is about wat u need. At least 1 trade for each week of finals as no doubt players will be rested. Then u have inj etc.  absolute min 3 trades id say but about 5 would be perfect

IMO you should have a minimum of 4 going into the finals
