So I have 6 trades and $43k.

Backs: Goddard, Gibbs, Shaw, Hibberd, Goodes, Staker (Thurlow, Clisby)
Mids: Ablett, Pendles, Swan, Griffen, JPK, Cotchin, Jelwood, Priddis, (Mitchell, Hrovat)
Rucks: NicNat, Jacobs (Nicholls, Gawn)
Forw: Cox, Buddy, StevieJ, Rockliff, Martin, Walker (Daniher, Oxley)

Option 1: use 2 trades, Jacobs & Gawn trade to Goldstein & McBean leaving me with $55k to upgrade Staker down the track.
Option 2: use 1 trade, Jacobs trade to McEvoy.
Option 3: go with Nicholls as R2. use 2 trades. trade Jacobs to McBean and upgrade Thurlow to Def of my choice & keeping Staker for DPP sub with Oxley.

Or if there are any other suggestions out there i'd love to hear them.
Cheers  :)

I would go with option 3. Nicholls has been scoring well enough, if he hits the wall leave yourself some spare cash to upgrade him down the track.

I would be leaning towards Option 3. Only cause your defence bench isn't the strongest. So maintaining DPP can be vital.

At this stage Nicholls seems to be a perfectly fine R2 as he is the No.1 GC ruck.

As for a defender for Thurlow - Hanley is the best choice at his price, he is pretty much a must.

Hope that helped :)

its not ideal, but yes, he will do for now.

it'll finish his team off, then SAVE those trades

Would be great to jump on Hanley mate, too cheap to pass up and will basically finish ur backline. Can you go Jacobs to McBean, and Thurlow to Hanley? Leaves Goodes D6 and Staker/Clisby on bench - solid.

Nichols as R2, or McBean to bring Cox into Ruck and play Staker fwd via Oxley.

Leaves 4 trades and probably over $100k for future. But I would HOLD aft these 2!

Good luck bud

I would go with option 3. Your defence is what most needs upgrading.

yeah i can do Jacobs/Thurlow to McBean/Hanley. leaves me with $141k. sounds like the way to go.

Thanks alot for all your input guys :)

Not sure if I should cheer you for trading out Crab Jacobs or boo you for holding onto him for so long!

timtim

Option 3 for sure mate.

Or depending how you're looking in your leagues I would sit tight and loophole Nicholls/Jacobs when possible. Also depends if your upcoming opponents are in the same boat with Sauce.

Trades are precious.
