Just wondering on people's thoughts on him as a possable Watson trade. I double upgraded last week leaving no money in the bank and held Boyd. Now I've lost Boyd and Watson, Ablett was a late out Stantons hurting and K Martin ain't playing......
I only have $460,000 to spend on a Watson replacement and I was looking at Sammy Mitchell and Joel Selwood but I don't have great confedence in these past dream team stars. Dalziell would make me money and should go 90 - 100 for the next couple of weeks (hopefully). Is anyone else brave enough to bring him in? Or am I looking through the rose coloured glasses of a West Coast supporter with greedy cash grabbing eyes :)

Bluke

I was looking at him last night as well (another West Coast supporter) as a possible upgrade for KMart if he isnt named this week.

It will depend on how many mids are back this week, Shuey, kerr and Wellingham in could really hurt his midfield time. Could even push him into sub territory?

Big risk, but could be massive reward if it pays off!

Pity you don`t have a bit more cash because I`d go Masten instead of Dalziell but he is $478k

Bluke

Yep, I think Masten's numbers will improve with Scooter out

Masten has been extremely consistent this year is averaging 102 anyway this year so far.
He may creep up a bit tho

Bluke

Yep, will be in my sights next year, not sure I've got room this year since Priddis is going so well and I want Scooter back. Scooter should be without fitness since its only a thumb and I'd imagine he will keep his running up.

Glort

Yeah, I'm spewing I can't get Masten  :(
One of my favourites, I'll be looking closely at him next year. Kennedy and Masten won us the game, thankyou Juddy  :D

Tominator

always been a ball magnet, but his JS has never been great....

Good pick up, very unique if you want him

Glort

Ill have to have a good look at the teams on Thursday. I don't think Wellingham will be back after one hit out in the reserves. Patrick M > Kerr, Hutchings > Shuey, Watters > Butler/Smith Sub: Embley  ....... Just Hoping :)  I like Embley as a sub :)
Maybe I should just stick with Joel....

This is turning out to be the best trade! Kennedy is a star and mastens starting to show what he could do at junior levels!!!

Even with the possible INS for this round, Dalziell deserves his place in the Eagles 21. He has shown great running ability and surprisingly great decision making ability also. His midfield time imo will not be hampered because the potential INS are inside midfielders. Dalziell has been playing outside midfield on the wing or high forward. Played his role very well over the past 3 weeks, especially the past fortnight.

Takes balls to jump on, but its hard to see what can slow him down with the main midfield tag to go on Shuey and the second run with tag to go on Gaff. Why would he slow down? I can't see one so jump on ;)

wardie

I'm jumping on. Need a unique that could go big but is gauranteed to make $$ over the next few weeks. With both BOYD and WATSON injured it is difficult to trade both with SJ a priority this week also. PLaying Dalziell will make about $200k down from BOYD and will allow me to finish my team and with a bit of luck will be $400kish in 2/3 weeks and will be the final upgrade to a somewhat fallen premium.

Glort

Woo Hoo! Named in Mids....... I'm on :)
Now who to start TMitch or Dazzle........

Tominator

Vlastuin to Dalziell     :P

G Lort I'm with you got him in but don't know who to start, very much considering starting him ahead of montagna as I think he will get tagged against Carlton. I think Mitchell will be good against gws but he could just have another 80 odd
