Sam Colquhoun

Hey Fellas !

I'm not a Port Fan but I'd like some insight from those who are or anyone else who knows about Sam Colquhoun.

His been dominating in the 2s but isn't getting a game.

Is it likely he will get games this year ?

Any info is appreciated.

A few things, he is actually the youngest player in the AFL, also he has no defencive pressure, also he is a skinny kid

Should play a few next year I would think after another preseason, was never gonna play much this year

Hope he can gets his body AFL ready next year. Good be a very handy rookie.

I think he will be lucky to play more than 5 games.

Called this pre season was never going to play ample amount of matches especially with the amount of depth we have now.

Might sneak 1 or 2 games in towards the end of the home and away season as we rest our players for the finals.

Apparently played well in the SANFL on the weekend.

He just doesn't the maturity or AFL 'awareness' with quick decision making at the minute.
His small frame makes it tough when he gets caught!

He scares me when he plays. Whenever he got the ball against the Saints in the second half my heart would stop in anticipation. I don't rate him at all this season, too inexperienced and sucks compared to the veteran and rising talent in the club. Maybe next year I'll see him play more convincing football :)

There is a reason the crows didn't take him in the draft and than is Rory flowering Laird!

Note, Last year Lairdy was the youngest in the AFL, this year it's Sam Col ;)  Although Col won't be as defencive as my boy ;D
