Trade Help Please (Will Cheer )

I would like to get my team as close to complete as I can come finals. What should I do?

Running Goodes and TMitchell as D6 and M8 for the year.

Cash left - 123k. Trades - 8

D- Goddard Gibbs Mckenzie Goodes Staker Clisby. Docherty Wilson.
M- Ablett Swan Watson JPK Selwood Cotchin TMitchell Hrovat. KMart Colq.
R- Cox Goldy. Nicholls Witts.
F- NicNat StevieJ Rocky Zorko Franklin JJK. Daniher Garner.

Was thinking-

Staker > Hanley
Watson > Jack

I know it's early on Staker but I want to get Hanley in.

What you think ? :)

Sound trades mate, they look good. Obviously I'm a little worried (and I'm sure you are too) about Hrovat at M8 and Clisby at D6 at the moment aswell as Zorko (hopefully turn this form slump around) but Nicholls to Mcbean in a few weeks when he's maxed out will give you good cash to upgrade them to cheap options later on before finals. Otherwise you look good mate. Good luck.

Then maybe upgrading Martin and Clisby / Wilson.

As for your trading idea - Watson has to go this week. Zorko has a good draw so I expect him to get better.

your defence is a bit thin so i don't like the idea of trading staker.. but yeah i couldn't think of any other way to get in hanley ::). i know that hanley's breakeven is low but staker's is even lower. staker will most likely make more money than hanley so you could hold for a week and reassess next week?

if k mart or colq is playing this week i'd prob wait a week on watson too. jack has quite a high breakeven so should be okay for a week. he may even drop a bit more. and obviously watson isn't gonna lose any cash.

ideally you want to get rid of docherty and thurlow who are both injured. and i wouldnt rush to get rid of nicholls either. he'll be awesome bench cover for the finals.

i'd recommend using this week to try and generate some cash so that you can upgrade next week. though admittedly i cant think of any good downgrade options ::)

hope i've given you something to think about! ;D

I might actually hold one week as you said. I'll have a whole week to think about it.

Also I meant Wilson not Thurlow, Sorry. As for Docherty - There is no decent downgrade options for now so I am going to hold.

To be honest mate I'd be tempted to hold. If you can field a team then leave as is, I wouldn't ditch Staker yet, and not for Hanley I don't think. Wait a week or two, get a couple more rises out of Staker, then Staker to Ibbotson should be a winner as Ibbo is about to drop.

I'm not sure what I'll do with Watson myself, I have the luxury of an easy couple of games so I can play Mitchell as M8 for a couple of weeks, I don't want to be in a situation like Leuenberger (who was supposed to be out for ages then only missed a couple of games!). Mids are a little thin with Mitchell and Hrovat on field, so you'd be relying on KMart getting a game. If you're dead set on trading him this week, Jack not a bad pick, personally I would look at either Danger for his ability to explode, or ROK for a slight POD angle...

I am thinking about holding this week depending on how much Hanley will rise.

As for Watson - I think Jack is good because his super consistent and a POD in my league.

I think Watson has to go.i really like Jack he's unique and he's one of the top scorers this year, get him in! Watson will be out for 4-6 weeks and KMart or Sam Col aren't good enough to field.

If you don't want to (or can't) use the cash to get Pendles, then I think Jack is your best bet. Been really consistent this year, which is something not many premos have had this year.
As for the Staker to Hanley trade, it's likely that they will both rise in price by about the same amount, so pull the trigger when you're ready. However it may be better to offload Nicholls to a cheap ruck rookie, and upgrade Docherty to Hanley instead if you have the cash.

When Nicholls is maxed out - I will downgrade to McBean for DPP with Cox and NicNat

Then Martin or Hrovat will become Danger / Pendles / Barlow. Pretty much the best I can afford.

ROK pretty much same price as Jack and not many will pick him up ;)

I seriously reckon Jack will be one of the most, if not the most traded in player for Watson. Which is fine if you just want to have him, I'd be tempted to take a chance though...

That or Barlow is only 50k more, Danger 80k more... I'm all about the ceiling baby haha
