Surely we shouldn't be too hard on ourselves with Vlastuin - on the bubble he was a premium-priced rookie with only a modest BE (between -30 and -50 from memory). On pure economic value & money-making potential there were far better options that week.

Ditto. If it's Vlastuin you're talking about.

Never got Ellis, still maintain he'd just about be bargain of the year, not a lot you can do about an early concussion.

Didn't grab Ellis but had Vlas from round 1, traded a few weeks back at his peak. One of my best rookies this season. Makes me all warm and fuzzy knowing I traded him at the right time :)

To be fair Ellis would've been on track for a 100+ score and got concussed unluckily. He is scoring like a premo and I would have kept him if I had picked him up really early.

Yup agree with Torpedo, Ellis still good for 80+ most weeks as a floating winger/half forward.

It was just unfortunately he fell into spud firrito (hopefully doesn't cost me a league win).

With all the carnage in the backline, its a lucky dip. Ellis i'm keeping, vluey definitely looks tired, should of jumped off him 2 weeks ago if not consider punting him this week as there are some better options around mid 3's -400.

Here's one that will probably give everyone a laugh. Re Vlastuin :-
got him when first selected and traded him out this week. So far so good, but traded him out for J Watts. Be very surprised if Watts scores well in the next two weeks, although he does have a high score against the Swans, but actually got him for bench cover with the Staker DPP between def and for. OH incidently, Watto averages 107 against the Dogs, who of course the D's play in rd. 23.
