Pokemarathon Mk II

We're going at it again! Nige and I have decided to play through 1 game from each generation (treating BW2 as the 6th gen) in another Pokemarathon run. I won't really have time to do trainer cards for everyone this time around, but might do them on and off, not really sure. Either way, will have some teams from our Blue runs up later tonight 8)

I will also be doing nuzlocke runs in each game, pretty sure Nige isn't though.

Did Nuzlocke once... Most frustrating thing ever :P

Somehow managed to get to the elite four after about three hours on Victory Road, then my team died on my first attempt against Lance :(

Heston (now a Wartortle) lvl 18
Depp (now a Pidgeotto) lvl 18
Tully lvl 18

Grinding is easy thanks to the superspeed spacebar.

Not doing a marathon but doing a play through of Blue - beat Brock and just finished catching Jigglypuff (took forever, especially after I killed the first one :P )

In Vermilion City at the moment, training Pokemon in Diglett Cave and on the route next to it. Two gyms down with relative ease. Will probably have to level up Kemba a bit.

Just started playing Diamond for the first time yesterday on DS emulator. Laggy and slow, so this may be a long process :P.

Got a Piplup or whatever it's name is (I named it Pippip) at level 9. Got alot of grinding ahead to get it to a decent level. Have no idea on majority of pokemon in this so gonna be seeing about my party on the way through.

By far the most underrated generation of Pokemon ever. Not because it's the best, or even because it's that good, just because everyone seems to ignore it despite it being quite fun. Piplup's a good choice because of the typing of its evolutions. However, there are basically no fire types in Gen IV so, unless you start with Chimchar, you're not going to be enjoying fire...
Get a Starly because Staraptor's a friggin beast!!!

I'm going to start a ROM Hack called Light Platinum. I know nothing about it so I may as well update you all as well (join in the fun). My trainer's name is Kyal (no idea why) and I have a Charmander at level 5 called Derek.

That sounds interesting Huggy, or should I say Kyal :P.

Only chose Piplup cause I looked at the evolutions and I prefer a giant Penguin to a giant Ape and Blastoise-wannabe :P. Certainly want to try and finish it by end of holidays when I have the time. Haven't played any pokemon games since like Ruby/Sapphire.
