PRESS RELEASE:

New Delhi Tigers bosses would like to inform the public of the four intra-club matches that will take place over the next four weeks. The decision was made on the back of a less than impressive season where the Tigers finished in 16th position.

A co-coach had this to say: "clearly a very disappointing season from our point of view and from the point of view of the playing group. We will be running full scale intra-club matches with fit players being divided equally. These matches WILL count toward b&f vote polling and in some cases WILL decide the future (or lack thereof) of some NDT players."

It is thought that these matches will garner some interest from opposition coaches as trade time looms and a list overhaul appears highly likely.

Needless to say there were some shattered faces in the Team 1 camp when I allocated Dawson to Team 2 ;)

REPORT

A hotly contested battle in which Team 1 shot ahead early only to be reined in by a gallant Team 2 led superbly by a consistent effort from the midfield. The fierce nature of the match pleased coaches with many players playing for contracts for the 2015 season and beyond! Numerous players lifted their games substantially with careers on the line and friendships were set aside for the 120 minutes that ensued, very good to see.

B.O.G

Very hard to go past Toby Greene this week. A whopping 26 possession effort to half-time was reflected on the scoreline with Team 1 going into the break on top.  Robertson was sent to him in the second half to nullify his impact and did his role well in another promising sign for the first year player. To go with his 35 touches, Greene racked up 9 marks and 5 tackles in a clear indication of his willingness to work hard on the spread while also being very accountable, running both ways.

Dawson's last half lift wasn't enough  :'(

We still on for a friendly this week?

I'll name my worst team possible, although with my depth atm (had about 2 players not in my 15 last week) it'll probably be close to my best team :3
