Joining Marsh on the primary list next year will be Foote who also made his debut in 2016 when he got the call up for the Round 18 match against Carlton.

While it was the only senior appearance for the QBE Sydney Swans Academy product, the 21-year-old was one of the most consistent performers in the NEAFL, earning a place in the NEAFL Team of the Year

Nick Vlastuin is feeling reinvigorated and excited by the challenge of taking on a different role within Richmond’s line-up in 2017.

After establishing himself as one of the best small defenders in the competition during the past few years, Vlastuin has spent this pre-season building his fitness base and training with the Tigers’ midfield group.

Key forwards who boot at least 40 goals a season don’t grow on trees.

FremantleDublin were crying out for another one to support Matthew Pavlich Jack Riewoldt (Tom Hawkins lol) for the best part of a decade.

They would have taken Darling’s presence in their forward line in a heartbeat.

There is no doubt Darling can and should still get better after already playing 128 AFL games.

He has scope to become a smarter footballer, but remember he is still only 24.

Darling is guaranteed to be at the club until at least the end of the 2020 season under his new contract and West Coast’s NDT's hierarchy have made it crystal clear he is not viewed as tradable.

Darling is here to stay and the Eagles NDT Tigers are better for it.
