Am trying to work out which of these youngsters to put in my DT - currently thinking i may snaffle 2 of them.. but which 2?

Knights - priced at 83 avg, but averaged 91 in last half of 2008 and looks good so far in the pre-season..

Boak - also priced at 83 avg after his breakoput year, but averaged 99 in the last 5 games last year. Can he follow in the footsteps of J.Selwood and M.Murphy and crank it up further?

C.Morton - priced at 73 avg, this guy looks like a magnet, averaged ~90 from rounds 15-22 and looks like he may be the future of their midfield..

Masten - priced at 69 avg, i know a lot of people rate him. Looks like he'll be handy in the WCE midfield alongside Kerr and Priddis. Think i read somewhere that he's bulked up and was doing well in the beep tests. Can he kick on to an 85-90 average in 2009?

Could be cheaper alternatives to the established stars if they continue to progress this season.. Thoughts?

I generally don't like picking midfield players in teams which I think will bomb this year. Which for me works against Morton and Masten, and I don't like either of them particularly either. Knights could average well, not sold on the crows having a good year but they don't have a huge amount of other midfielders to steal touches. Which leads me to boak, port has got a plethora of young midfielders all competing for touches. My guess is that Kane will rebound on last years numbers, maybe deflating Boak's somewhat. That said, Boak did finish last year very well (but that was while Kane was scoring less).

I am not a huge fan of any, but think I would pick Boak. Port might be a touch higher up the ladder this year than some people think.
