Not sure whether I've said this before but I've really struggled to get into watching/following the Tour De France.

Not much of a cyclist to begin with and I've never quite understood how people get so much enjoyment/excitement out of watching hundreds of lads cycle for days.

I suppose it's not for everyone like most things in life haha.

Master Q

It's not really exciting, the sprints and rooting for people/teams is what makes it good. I just find it enjoyable and relaxing.

That being said I've hardly watched this year due to the WC and other stuff.

Toga

I'm the same, it's not really exciting but all the same I like watching it. It's very tactical as well!

gotta watch some Mountain stages, one of the most exciting sports IMO. Better than baseball.   :P

Watch a real sport, like lawn bowls.  ;) 8)

The scenery?

No seriously, the mountain stages are unbelievable. At least when Cadel was there they were.

Ringo

Agree Doc The scenery is worth it just to watch it go bye.  And Phil Leggat can make anything exciting.

tor01doc

Contador out.

Porte second - now it may be worth watching.

Ringo

Porte made up nearly a full minute on the leader and is only 2 and half minutes behind.  Hope he did not burn too much petrol trying to chase him down.

tor01doc

I reckon that Italian won the stage.

Not much change is this stage with all challengers crossing the liune together.  Porte still 2.23 down on Nibali.
