Double climb of Alp D'Huez tonight! This is the last chance for Contador to make this interesting.
Man! The Aussies on top at Lords, what to do what to do?

PowerBug

The road is 4m wide
It is raining
There are no barriers
The riders are already going 70kph
The riders said they didn't want to do this road
The organisers said flower you we don't care
Contador has decided to attack on the downhill

This has disaster written all over it.

Worst day on tour. Falls off a couple of riders. Still extends lead to over 5 minutes

BratPack

Called it two weeks ago along with tbag.

We accept all your apologies  :P

A long time between drinks for this thread.

Not many here keen on cycling I guess.

I just wanted to ask why the commentators don't just say the rider is stopping for a piss rather than a 'nature break'?

Jay

Was actually about to make a thread for this :o

Not the same without Cadel :(

tor01doc

Hey Jay,

Richie Porte?

We need more rain and cobbles and drugs.

Do we even consider him Aussie?

He's been helping the Poms too much for my liking :P

tor01doc

Rogers - drugs

Cadel - cycling's Lleyton Hewitt

OGE - oh puhleese!

So Richie le Door for me.

tor01doc

OK - more inspiration tonight.

Why not ride MotoGP bikes over the Tour de's course?

AaronKirk

I'll get interested once they get to the Alps, that's when most of the action starts.

Not the same without Cadel there, but cheering Richie Porte on for sure!!

big climb last night was interesting, I'm getting up early for the WC though.  :P

Ringo

Will be cheering Richie on - Helps that he is now Lead Rider for the Sky Team.  Starting to get interesting now that Mountains are here. 3mins not a lot to make up and in 5th position.

Trouble for Richie is that Alberto is still probably eating those massive Argentinian beef steaks marinated in a red and black coloured sauce full of God knows what.
