In VIC here they've got the footy on the main channel and the ashes on gem which seems pretty bizzarre, surely should be the other way around,

Same in SA henry. I think it's the way the deal is done. I don't think regular people would want to miss out on their shows for the next couple of months. ;) Thus why it's on GEM, noone cares all they play is The Big Bang Theory and old TAAHM.

Ashes > Some spud game any day, even though Shannon Noll is playing :(
