Gibbs, Birchall, Hanley, A Walker
GAJ, Pendles, Beams, Jelwood, Jack
Minson, Goldy
Wingard, Rocky, T Walker

Something like that

I'd forgotten about A Walker as a defender.

Birchall over a discounted Suckling pig? I reckon 12 topline premiums will be all you can afford with a couple of discounted guys and rookies for the rest.

After this year, I reckon my defence might be 2 premiums and a mix to stock up elsewhere with more reliable scorers.

I like Wingard too.

Worried what this injury will do to Suckling's kicking ability Birchall should be like 450k I think

Daisy.. Hahah, wouldn't surprise me if he ended up there! Could come off a HBF and rotate with Walker up forward? If he's at Carlton.
If not, would fit well of half back rotating through the centre or wing with Clinton Young, wouldn't mind that.

If he plays a full year he'll average around 100-105. Good enough for me.
I think the "playing a full year" is the issue with Daisy given there is a chance he may be out for 9 months with his ankle operation.

Vinny

Walker Simpson/Hanley Mitchell Suckling
Ablett Pendles Selwood Beams Cotchin
NicNat Kreuzer
Danger Rocky Wingard Wellingham

Something like this. :)

I thought you'd be more

Walker, Carrazzo, Gibbs, Simpson
Murphy, Judd, Buckley
Krooz, Rowe
Casboult, Betts

vinny!

Are people actually considering starting without Ablett or?

What are your thoughts? Playing injured, just having a under-par patch etc.

Jroo

Joel Selwood is a lock for me, while I'll be considering his brother Scott.

I think this quiet patch he's having now will make me likely to pick him next season. His average has gone down 9 points the last 4 weeks (coincidently 9 points lower than his 2012 average as well) meaning he may well start a bit cheaper next season than he otherwise would have been.

Of course there's a lot of water under the bridge before the start of next season  ;)

Sure am Vinny, but he'll certainly be an upgrade target, one of the first I make.

I just think with Prestia, Bennell, O'Meara, Swallow, Matera, Martin all capable to run through the middle, I think they could look to develop their youngsters further and that means we could see little Gaz spending a whole lot more time forward. This could mean we could see a little bit more of the low 100 scores with more inconcistency. He should still average around 115-125 however, but his starting price will make him a little bit of a turn off.

I think Pendles will become the #1 SC player next year.
He's ready to take the uptimate step!

I think these quiet scores are a good thing. Making him a nicer price for next year  ;)

Only slightly though, his average is still HUGE! :P

Hmm interesting Wato! Will be curious to see what his owned by % will be come next year.

Maybe don't start with him and then wait until he drops and pick him up.

Haha just thought of starting without him seems fked :o

He will be 30 next year so you would have to expect a drop off at some point. Depending how soft his draw is early I might get him, but he might be worth considering as an upgrade target next year. Eventually age will get the best of everyone.
