HMac always gets injured.. I'd get a more reliable ruck combo

HMac is a tough one having played so little games over such a long time. If he tears it up or shows some good in the preseason, I'll pick him up.

becareful of preseason form a few of us learnt that this year aka KARNEZIS

Hmac is a proven player though he just needs to get out on the park.

And worst case you can just use him as a stepping stone if he does get injured mid year

Bulldogs looked surprisingly good last week. Few good up and comers in there too. That dollhouse kid looks promising.

After some more thinking for the hundredth time. :P

D- Walker Mitchell Hanley Mckenzie
M- Ablett Pendles Beams Jack Murphy
R- Kreuzer HMac
F- Rocky NicNat and Danger if DPP.

Not sure what that would cost roughly but would love to know.

Surely Charlie Dixon will be Fwd/Ruck dpp next year, would you pick him?

For sure, as long as he isn't too pricey.

I love watching him play.

All depends on price. He has missed a chunk of games, but like Waite last year, he might just play enough to not get an injury discount.

He'll be Fwd/Ruck/Back

depending on how cheap H-mac is. May use him on bench to get lots of money and R4 can be a ruck/fwd

There has been a lot of talk about Prestia for 2014. Is anyone locking him in for sure ?

Bye structure will come into with Prestia. If Collingwood and GC have the same bye again, I want to try and get Gaz, Ablett and Beams, by getting in Prestia as well early in the season it will hinder me. Also if Martin is a mid rookie I will be starting with him, assuming that he is going to get games. Lonergan is the other guy to look at for GC, only played a few games this year, so he might be pretty cheap and a good rookie alternative.

Also to add something, salary cap will come into the equation. This year I started with 4 premium mids, 1 mid priced option in Moloney and the rest was rookies. A couple of them were bottom end premium priced players in Jack and Murphy, assuming I am going to spread my cash around the same, it is going to be difficult to get all these guys into my starting lineup. I would rather pass on Prestia at this point

He along with Libba and Steven might get a look in, in a few teams, very risky though, went for a bit more of a risk this year and it didn't pay off at all, so i've decided to go the full Premo's/Rookies strategy for next year (Excluding maybe a discounted Suckers or H-Mac)

These is how i imagine my team shaping up like:

Walker, Mitchell, McVeigh/Simpson, Suckers
Ablett, Pendles, Beams, Cotchin/Murphy, Jack
NicNat, H-Mac
Rocky, Danger, Wingard

Vinny

Haha Hawkers almost identical to mine and as a Blues supporter was seriously looking at Simpson but could age get to the man.

Hmm Yes Matt- What premium structure will people look at starting with next year ?
