Had another think -

Hanley Walker Mitchell Suckling
Ablett Pendles Beams Murphy
Goldy
Danger StevieJ Roughy

Pretty much this except instead of Murphy i'd have Watson, instead of Danger (I don't think he'll have DPP) i'd have Wingard, and i'd probably throw in Minson and Dusty as well. Might be just over the cap but we'll see
i don't watch many Adelaide games, but he seems to play forward a bit

nrich102

So.....

Back: Hanley, Suckling
Mid: GAJ, Pendles, Jack Reden, Jack Martin, Aish, D. Beams
Ruck: Luey, Hmac
Fwd: Roughy, Dangerfield, Wingard, Jesse Hogan, Tom Boyd

newfreofan

Walters. Should move into the midfield next season for a breakout, but will be listed as a Forward

didn't say I wouldn't

but I wont

Just some suggestions and queries !

Matty Kreuzer ? Anyone locking him in - I think he can keep a solid average next year after being very consistent this year excluding injury games.

Minson or Goldy for 2014 ? Or Sandi ? HMac ? Mummy ?

Also Roughy ?! His been arguably the best forward this year other than SJ ! Anyone locking him in and if Buddy leaves how will it effect him ?

Murphy and Cotchin are locked in for me as I reckon they can take their game to a new level of consistency and Murph will be super cheap. Along with Beams and also Walker and Mitchell if they get DPP.

Lol how has Murphy done anything to make you want him? He's cheap for a reason not done anything this year

Vinny

He hasn't been terrible this year and I believe he can bounce back next year after a solid preseason.

We know what his capable of and his been effected by injuries this year too.

I think his going to fire next year and I'll be taking the punt. Hope it pays off :P

Would anyone take a punt on Higgins? 59 average this year with a 40% discount would see him at about $190,000 next season. Tempting?

Would be tempting as he could easyily average at premo status but you just have to look at games played in his career, from this year to 2006, he stands at; 3, 19, 18, 16, 17, 4, 20, 5. So he has never played a full season. Doubt i'll pick him but could be a nice POD.

All these people picking danger in the forward line he is no shot, averages way too much and he is a mid who rests up front. Swan could also be a fwd mid but he won't be

Here is a unique one for you.

I'm not so sure about that. Since walker went down danger has spent a lot of time in the forward line and kicked a lot of goals. Still no certainty to be a forward but has to be a good chance.

The ruck is going to be my hardest area to pick. Whoever goes to GWS would have to be considered, hmac should be a bargain, Naitanui, Maric, leuenberger all getting a full pre season will be a massive bonus.

I know they say they use heat maps and where the players pick up the stats. Cant see VS giving a potential 120 average player DPP.

Swan got 32 goals in 2011
ablett 44 goals in 2010

Oh yeah I certainly dont think kicking goals is enough but he has started a fair few games in the forward line so hopefully they are kind. Probably a little wishful though
