Could not agree more.You can join me in the rant from 5 weeks ago when Merrett coped 3 for his sling tackle.  Seems sling Tackle which basically is the result of a strong tackle going wrong is now worth more on the sidelines these days than delibertely attacking the head of a player.  Put me on the MRP as in my opinion these attacks to the head are dirty acts and deserve 6/8 weeks.

Also the other thing that gets me with these "sling" tackles how many do you see in a game very similar but nothing happens. It only seems to be reported if the tackled players shows some signs of discomfort so where is the consistency.

How hard is Ryan Crowley to play on?
He's incredibly close checking, very strong and he's great aerobically. He's the best tagger I've played against. He never pinched me, but he's just very focused - he's got a very clear idea of what his role is within the team and he sticks to that.

But yeah, its ridiculous. Agree with you Ringo that a slightly over the top or mis-timed tackle is being crucified while thugs who go out of the way to seriously injure players (be honest, Mckernan wasn't getting close to the ball. flowering sniper.) are seemingly let off more lightly.
