Start Rant

ARE YOU FLOWERING KIDDING ME - I am talking to you MRP

Crowley cops a $900 fine for pinching yet,

Harvey can pull Mzungu's hair - Nothing
Harvey can smack Crowley in the neck - Nothing
Harvey can knee McPharlin and cause him to come off with the blood rule - Nothing
Petrie can shove his hand in Zac Clarke's face while wrestling - Nothing

YOU CAN JUST FLOWER RIGHT OFF MRP

End Rant

Happy for Crowley to cop the fine but there should be some other sanctions from the match.

LF

It's a ridiculous fine in the first place.

Ziplock

hahahaha

pinching lol.

Ringo

Agree with you Valk -
If it had been any one else but Crowley would the incident have even been noticed or reported As much as we hate Crowley there has to be some consistency when reviewing incidents and this one imo is a joke. What category does pinching fall into anyway.

Ziplock

unsportsman like conduct I'd think?

Bill Manspeaker

it is a girly little dog thing to do, but so is Boomer pulling Mzungu's hair. i haven't seen any of the incidents though.

it's not like it'll hurt his wallet though

valkorum

The "pinching incident" was only  raised cos Harvey was a little dog and complained to the umpire at quarter time.

Ringo

Thanks Valk did not see anything of this game obviously as I was at the Gabba.

Capper

hahah but was it

intentional (three activation points), reckless (two activation points), negligent (one activation point), or accidental/incidental (charge rejected) conduct

severe (four activation points), high (three activation points), medium (two activation points), low (one activation point), or negligible (charge rejected) impact

was contact made to the head (two activation points), groin (two activation points) or body (one activation point).

If he severly pinched him intentionally in the head he would be happy with the $900 fine

Capper

Also who dobbed on him?? Somebody obviously told the teacher!!

They will regret it!!

so you're saying pinching is allowed but complaining isn't?  don't get me wrong, dobbings not cool.. but neither is pinching.

but like i said i didn't see the incident so i can't really offer anything else

If you read my actual rant.... I am happy that Crowley cops the fine but many other incidents haven't been looked at which is what I am ranting about.  Is it just coincidence that the one incident that is looked at is the one that was dobbed about..... just sayin

roo boys!

Didn't see the first half of the game so can't really comment on the incidents themselves but the commentators did say that apparently Crowly approached the umpires at half time pleading for free kicks, which he did get throughout the second half. I'd much rather cop a $900 fine and get the free kicks during the game. I may have heard wrong and Basil Zempilas is the third least reliable source in football in my eyes (behind SuperCoach Paige and Caro :P)

Just be lucky Crowley didn't cop weeks for diving ;)

I'm joking of course, a large number of players do it nowadays and it really gets on my nerves...obviously Lindsay from North is renowned for it but have seen a few other players do it over this year and it's growing more and more. Not a fan at all.

Boomer hardly "smacked" Crowley in the neck, the amount of players that throw their arm into the chest of opposition players is just about everyone, it was just unlucky this one slipped high and Crowley milked it for all it was worth. Wasn't a good look but really didn't intend to make contact with the neck.

Would be interesting to see how they came to the conclusion that Crowley was guilty...is it his word vs mine, did the umpires get involved, was there footage they're not showing us?
