i wonder if the cats could mount some defence based around lindsey thomas where, yes he elected to bump, but initial contact was to the shoulder and the contact to the head was incidental/unforseeable.

They might challenge because he's out 2 weeks regardless of whether he challenges and loses, or just accepts the suspension.

Totally agree here mate. In fact i think SJ had less time to evade.

Yeh, why do you say that - i was tempted to get someone like SJ in my mids, he gets mid type scores and it's great for cover with all the fwds i can swap around.   In the end I didn't do that but i'm interested to why it's a bad idea?

Cox, Walker, Dusty, JJK, Cloke, Rocky (Buddy, Staker)

SJ swaps with Walker into fwd line and then swaps with Buddy onto bench.

How so?

because there are no viable rookie dpp options so any time you have a link player in your mids (SJ/dustin/rocky for example) it's a spot that could be taken over by better scoring mid than the fwd spot that's available because they're not there. imo it's sacrificing points for the "what if" factor of something like what's happened to SJ this week.
