We're showerty

It is useless to contend with the irresistible power of DRS, which goes on continually creating a process of constant destruction
of the purity of the game we love. The perpertuous indecisive decision review is broadcasted only in a light that favours the heaviest punters, the Indian high rollers that control our game. It is the sub continent gambling interests that are the real power behind the favourable third umpire reviews.

I know you are very anti-Aussie cic, but why do you like that? If it was the other way around would you still like it? Why do you believe that umpiring mistakes are good for the game?

Another big start, another lbw, another botched DRS referral.

For the second time in the series and the 23rd time in his Test career, Watson was trapped planting his front foot down the wicket.

After being 0-42 one over out from lunch on the second day, Australia were on their way to disaster - a useless grasp of the DRS system again killing them.

Coach Darren Lehmann was scathing over continual poor judgement using the technology, but said it was in fact Rogers who advised his opening partner to review the lbw.

Lehmann said Watson was going to walk until Rogers intervened.

Umpires haven't had this much trouble with DRS in the past. Why all of a sudden are they doing a crap job in an Ashes series?

Nige

If they get Australian umpires in for the next test (or anyone of the remaining tests) and they butcher decisions, will everyone still hate on the decisions?

You can't have umpires in test matches that come from the countries playing in the tests. You can in ODIs, just not in test matches.

I know. I should have probably said that was hypothetical. :P
